So I received this wig 2 days after ordering. This is my first wig I’ve ever purchased with me transitioning from relaxed hair to natural. I took it to work and allowed my co workers to help me distinguish if it was a good wig or not. They know better than me. They pulled it out and sniffed it and immediately said it needed to be washed and dyed. You can see the red strands in the wig and it smelled like relaxed hair or some type of processed hair. The hair is very soft and silky feeling. I soaked and washed the wig in my sink. I shampooed it 2 times with my good shampoo. The water the wig soaked in turned a nasty brownish color and smelled very bad. I rinsed it with cool water and now it’s air drying. I plan on wearing it tomorrow so hopefully it will be completely dry by then. If not I was told I could use a blow dryer. I will come back with a review after I wear it this weekend.

This wig came very silky. It was/is great FOR the price. But this wig sheds SO MUCH. Like it’s annoying to comb because it makes such a mess everywhere. And the roots have so much more volume then the ends that the wigs starts to look VERY stiff and stringy after an hour or two of wearing it. For $30-$40 it’s not bad but I don’t think I could wear it often just based on the shedding alone. It washes and conditions just fine and the curls come back after. I don’t hate it but you do get what you pay for. It’s not a great wig but it’s great for the price.
