If these are being displayed on a coffee table, they’re too fake looking but if you just have them on a console or side table, they’re PERFECT! The outer cover is a thick cardboard with a smooth finish so they look real-ish. Super easy to put together as well. These are so realistic looking. When they arrived as just a small flat package, I thought these are going to look cheap. But to my surprise once assembled (which was easy) they looked just like the real thing on my shelf. Even my husband was surprised they were not real books.
