For YEARS I have purchased, repeatedly, and for every room in my house, these beautiful draping, blacking out effective, soft to the touch, high quality curtains. IN past it was another brand, but however the reviews caused me to try DECONOVO. These drapes are as superior to ordinary curtains as the other brand and they have three additional plusses: The color selection is outstanding, the stitching is even finer, and the tiebacks are velcro. Lastly, the deep green that i purchased is lovely, elegant, fresh-looking and with mywhite lace sheers between each pair at my double window, i can use the dark green to block light optimally but also have a spring/summer color scheme that cools. I got these in light gray to replace some dark gray ones that I purchased on Amazon a while back. They no longer had the brand that I purchased a few years ago so I got this brand. Firstly, it does not block out as much light as my last pair but it’s probably because they are light gray and not dark gray. Most of the reviews say that they are thick but they are a little thinner than the last ones I purchased. I really like the way that it has an option to put the rod all the way through the curtain or to use the tabs. You could also use clips and it would look fine. For blocking out Light it gets four out of five stars and for blocking out the sun it gets 2.5 out of five stars. There are thicker and double layered curtains out there that would be better for that. ... show more

Fit perfect. Hang nicely and slides well. Makes the room really dark. The ties that came with it to hold them open use an adhesive Velcro for the closure and they came off already with barely any use. The curtains themselves are good quality though.

These curtains were exactly what I wanted. I am tired of the grommet look and wanted the back loop to hang.The fabric is silky soft and hung nicely. Blackout is perfect for day time sleepers who like the dark!
