This is a nice award to give with free personalized label. My 5th grader was disappointed. He has been getting the best in reading award since 1st grade as he always work hard to get the most AR points. This school year for some reason, the school did not give any best in reading award. They gave away a bunch of good citizen and my kid got it as well but he said it was fake because they give 5 good citizens per class and he wasn't happy that he spent all his time to get close to 550 AR points but no award for AR was given. My daughter spent the last 3.5 months actually studying during remote learning but because she's in 3rd grade, she didn't have any kind of moving up ceremony, so I decided to give her this trophy instead. Very nice little trophy! When schools closed, I needed something to keep my daughter motivated to keep reading. She was thrilled to receive this after reaching her 150 book goal! I love that it's somewhat small and can fit anywhere but it is not cheaply made.
