    • It broke after 3 weeks.

At first, the violin was working fine. It came in a nice case, it had nice features, and it came with rosin. The bridge was not set up, however, and I went to set it up. It took a bit, but I was able to set in place. I played it on and off for about two weeks and it worked wonderfully. However, on the third week, I was playing it and noticed that it was a bit out of tune. When I went to adjust the peg, the G string snapped. I didn't put much pressure on the peg but it snapped. I went ahead and tried to replace it. But when I replaced the string and tried to tighten the peg, the string broke so violently that it broke the tailpiece that holds the string. I tried my hardest to fix it to no avail. Don't. Buy. Violins. From. Amazon. Go to reliable instrument retail store and purchase a reliable violin. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This violin will surprise you with its build quality. For the price, it is definitely a great deal when it comes along with every accessory you would need to start your classes. My wife got crazy to learn violin suddenly and so after searching for all the economical options, I ended with this. I didn't want to spend on a costly violin as I am sure this craze of hers will end soon. This is a budget combo and not fair to compare this with a costly violin which costs 5-10 times more than this. Keeping that in mind, my 2 cents below : Pros: - Excellent build quality for the wood and even the strings - Sound is good enough compared to the online teaching videos where the tutor plays costly ones. I have zero knowledge about the violin and just my thoughts based on what I could get while seeing my wife learning. - I loved the color finish - It comes with everything you would need to start violin training. From tuning the violin to playing to cleaning, everything is included. It even comes with extra strings - The hard carrying case in which the violin arrives is nice making it a portable option - Super reasonable price Cons: - You don't get additional color options with this model. Some folks might prefer a more neutral color or more funky color Overall it is a great product considering the price. Recommended. This violin is good for a beginner. My daughter uses it at school in band. After about one month, the bow started to bend. It was nothing she did (she is very careful), it just started to wear out. My son had a sudden interest in violin, and I couldn't be happier it gets him off his video games. I figure I would look for something for a kid, a beginner violin and the description was exactly what I was looking for. I have to say I was impressed with the beauty of this piece. It's so lightweight perfect for his little arms. We don't want to have something heavy and uncomfortable for him to hold. It comes with everything listed all you will need to start. I bought this for my daughter. She wants to learn the violin. Nice product but the strings keep coming loose. I have to constantly tighten and tune. The bow also does not tighten to an appropriate strength to strike the strings. I play the violin and this is good for a starter violin if your a patient parent. ... show more

When I first got this violin I thought you would be amazing since it was good at the beginning. When I opened it the strings were so loose even though you try to tune it it still won’t work. The strings are so cheap, all of the strings broke on the first day not even a day more like 3 hours.I really wanted to enjoy playing this violin turns out it was a waste of my money. The violin is good except for the strings. I told my friend because she also has a violin and she said mine was broken. I really did want to play the violin but this one is so bad.Some of the other reviews says it’s good I don’t really know how since mine came broken.The part is the bow I know it’s not supposed to break and fall apart that easily. It’s very sad that I can’t play this violin now.I really won’t recommend this violin to anyone who would want to get a broken violin. I would honestly get a better violin that is not cheap quality.
