A great adventure mystery that keeps you wanting to read more. Abby, the dog rescuer, can't seem to avoid the entanglement of an on-going murder mystery in every effort to rescue dogs. The story keeps you engaged. It is an exciting read! It keeps you wanting to know what's next, an A+ read.

A TERRIFIC book! Filled with suspense and action, as well as offering tidbits of insights into the realities of dog rescue. I read it in a single-day’s sitting, something I never do. I just couldn’t put it down.

    • Dogs rule, people not so much
I liked the southwest setting for the story and all the background about dog rescue. The main character, Abby, was well developed but I thought the young officer, Colin, was over the top. Hard to believe he ever graduated the police academy. Good action scenes and Buddy the dog helped a lady escape. A fun, quick read. ... show more

    • Enjoyable Tucson tale.
I enjoyed this book, both for its Tucson setting and dog angle. Faults: I found a couple of lie/lay errors, and found the character of Colin to be unbelievable in many ways. Other than those, bravo!
