  • A fun addition to our box of instruments
My kids love to sing and dance and play music. I bought this triangle about a year ago to add to our box of toy instruments. It is kind of heavy for my 1 year old (she's on the small side anyway) but my 3 year old and 6 year old enjoy playing with this. It comes with a plastic case - which the kids rarely remember to put it back in - but the case has held up well. ... show more

  • Use as a one up alarm.
Awesome well built harmonic triangle. Bought this as a one up alarm system. When you get one upped, simply ring the bell. The sharp tone instantly completes the one up.

  • This triangle lacks a proper striker!
Well, I don't know whether the tone of this triangle is good or bad, but I can tell you for certain that at barely 5" long, the triangle's stubby metal striker is about 3" TOO short work properly! As a result, the striker will not balance properly, except possibly in the hand of a tiny child. A triangle striker should also have a loop at the handle-end to secure it to the triangle when not in use, and to hold onto it by while playing! I would have given this item just it one star, but the triangle itself is not bad, despite the flimsy, useless case, and cheap plastic hanging cord. Keep looking, you can do better! ... show more

  • Decent for the money
Bought this for a community symphony because it was cheap. It's what you pay for. Not great tone, but good enough. Great for a kid or for rehearsals, but not for orchestral performances (although, if you're a serious percussionist, you're not looking for cheap triangles). The case is pretty low quality and probably won't last, but that's not a big deal. ... show more
