Great budget power supply! I use it to test control boards for power equipment frequently, I’ve tested with a multimeter and seems to be accurate to the best of my measurement ability with a reasonably good multimeter.

I purchased this power supply to test some antique tube-based geiger counters that originally ran on obsolete high-voltage batteries connected in series. Since modern replacements for these 45V or 67.5V batteries can be quite expensive, I wanted a reliable and adjustable power source to confirm the functionality of my equipment before making a larger investment. So far, my experience with this has been good; it's easy to use and feels solid. The unit was lighter than I was expecting and fits well on my workbench. Nice addition to my setup. My only complaint is that the alligator clips are cheap and hard to open with the rubber sleeve on. The sleeve makes it nearly impossible to get the friction you need to open the clips, and once you do, it's too easy for a finger to twist and bend the clip (like my negative clip did on its first use) Do your self a favor and buy some better test leads for this and you'll be happy! Additionally, the USB is separate from the output voltage and is not controlled by voltage or amp adjustments. Also, the USB-C is PD QC, so if you are trying to use the USB-C on a device that does not support it, you get nothing.

I've only used it for a few minutes to power an am/ fm radio circuit board that I had removed from it's case to use the case for another project. I first peeled off the "Input: 115V/230V" sticker on the back to follow the instruction to set it to 115V. It does not have a switch for that. It's apparently wired for only 115V. I plugged it in & set the voltage to 9 volts & the current to 1 amp & it powered the radio perfectly. I did follow the instruction for turning off the beep sound for making adjustments by long pressing the voltage course knob. I hope this power supply holds up. I like it so far.

Overall I'm really happy with the supply. I'm getting back in to smaller projects to refresh my EE background (since I'm not working in that industry any more) and it works well, has current protection, and a good display. It's not real accurate at the lower mA range but that's not a big deal.

A very good basic power supply; compact and relatively inexpensive. The voltage output appears to be accurate when checked with my Klein Tools multimeter. I haven't checked the output for ripple, switching noise, or the accuracy of the current output display. When the adjustment is turned on, it produces an annoying beep; this can be turned off by simply pressing the coarse voltage knob. The only thing I dislike is the spade lug test leads, which are cumbersome to attach. I purchased a set of banana plug leads with better alligator clips.
