This is the third pair I bought because they are such a good pair of shoes. Each pair lasted almost 2 years before I finally had to replace them. I have unusually wide feet for my size (11), and its hard to find shoes that accommodate that. These shoes feel right so I keep coming back to them. I also like how they look overall. It's nice I can still get them after all this time, since I really hate shopping for shoes. I do have one complaint though. Both previous pairs met their end the exact same way, the sole on the under side ripped open where it bends when I walk. Not that big a deal since each pair lasted almost 2 years before this happened. I am pretty sure it's my own use that is causing it too, since they are my everyday shoes, so they get pretty beat up. Would be nice if they could solve that issue, but I would probably replace them in the same amount of time anyway, since 2 years is a long time to keep a pair of shoes. ... show more

    • Chunkier than I remember DC's
rocked these all through the early 2000's always liked the fit but I dont remember them being so bulky. My boot cut jeans don't even cover the whole shoe which is kind of a pet peeve of mine. i can cover the tongue but the heel is exposed or I can cover the heel and the tongue is exposed.. ugh.. overall great shoe always been a fan. very comfortable and of course they offer great traction on nearly any surface. soles tend to wear down fairly quick though . they may last for 6 months or so then you are gonna be on what feels like drag slicks. soles are a soft rubber but its out of necessity for the sport they were designed for. so take the good with the bad. these are purpose built shoes and fill that purpose with perfection. tons of padding in the tongue and heel so you don't bust up your tarsals while practicing your kick flips although your Achilles is fair game and wide open when ya miss the board. honestly would rather take the brunt of the damage on my tarsals.. than the back of the ankle that sh... hurts! Great shoe if you aint tried em get em if you had em back in the day get em again. ... show more

They were very easy to put on straight after unboxing. The thickness of the material is extraordinary. It’s very cozy and soft, very breathable and it feels good. The box came damaged, but I know it wasn’t the senders fault.
