Very nice shoes

Comfortable shoes and feel nice while skating, only thing that I feel a little iffy about is sometimes the tounge of the shoe sometimes gets messed up and is pushed more down into the laces creating this wierd looking dent at the top near where my toes are, so i have to move it around to look nice. Other than that, the grip feels really on a skateboard too, and can be styled in many ways. They dont feel too heavy which is good when riding as well. Other than my little personal issue with the tounge which doesnt change anything about it being comfortable, I would recommend buying these for skating. ... show more

Nice non leather skate shoe that looks good and is functional

Loving these shoes so far. I won’t wear leather and sometimes it’s hard to find a decent skate shoe that looks good. I prefer black and understated without bold designs or colors. These offer all of that, and are comfortable to wear.

Good alternative to Nike janoski shoes.
I've been wearing Nike janoski shoes for years. They are too expensive so I've been branching out trying different shoes. I do not like vans. I tried Ernie's shoes but they were not very comfortable for my feet, and more bulky than I like. They kept hitting my ankle bone. I keep going back to the janoski because I like how slim they are, while being durable. I just hate spending 90 bucks on shoes so I decided to give these a try. I've always strayed away from DC shoes because the ones I would normally see were ridiculously bulky. I am happy with the shoe profile because they are not too small and not to bulky. If you like the profile of the janoski you will probably like these shoes. The tounge is more padded so it adds just a little bit of bulk but not too much to be annoying. The sides have a little more padding which I like because I kept getting bruised on the sides of my feet from my bike cranks. Love this shoe. Fits true to size and very comfortable. It took a few skate sessions to break them in good but well worth the cost. Only down side is that the toe is made of a jean type of material that is already starting to wear through to my socks and I’ve only owned them for a week and a couple days. ... show more
