Wow! I'm super impressed! This little ring really is as delicate and dazzling as others have said it is. I got the yellow gold version because I wanted to use my grandmother's engagement ring instead of the same old white gold, princess cut, halo ring that 99 out of every 100 women wear these days. I love the vintage rings, especially the 1940's illusion setting, and the fact that the ring was worn by a bride who stayed happily married for more than 60 years, until death did they part. The only thing I have not been able to do was find a wedding band that went with it that wasn't too plain or too big and overwhelming. This ring is very pretty! It is delicate and measures just 1mm, so obviously super thin, but it has lots of sparkle. You would think the small size would make it appear cheap, but instead I thought it looked very high end. I purchased the yellow gold ring, and I love that the band is yellow, but the actual diamonds are set in white gold, so the stones can really shine. I’ve been searching for an affordable anniversary band to pair with my vintage wedding set, but, unfortunately, this ring didn’t quite work. It got kind of lost against the two 2mm bands. Too bad, because I really loved it. Also, my teen daughter was obsessed with it! She wants one to just wear by itself, thin and minimalist. I bought this in 2015, 2 years ago with my first paycheck in college. I've worn it every single day since, only taking it off to wash my hair. The ring is perfect for me to keep on and never worry about. It's dainty and classy but not too flashy where I would worry about my safety in a city. Although some of the diamonds are noticeably darker and more dull than the others, you can only tell if you hold it up to your face to scrutinize. My point of view is different than others who reviewed, as this isn't a wedding band or stacking ring for me. And it's still great. I can recommend this to even people who are in the younger 18-24 age demographic. On a side note, this is the first review (and only) I've ever written, because I think this ring is actually worth taking the time out of my life to review and encourage others to buy. 2023 UPDATE: 8 years later and I still love this ring. I still only take it off to wash my hair. While the price has since increased by almost $100, I think it's an invaluable addition to your life that's worth every dollar. ... show more

I have had this ring since May 2015 - It is now late February 2016. It is still is perfect little sparkly condition as when I first received it. The band on my engagement ring is very petite (see in photos - sorry it's twisted off to the side a tiny bit) and top heavy. I needed something that symbolized my wedding band but was similar width to the band on my E-ring without taking the stage, so to speak. This little baby fit the bill and was to come in time for my procrastination on not being able to choose a ring before our ceremony. It was to be a placeholder - I like it so much I haven't thought about replacing it! Is is thin? yes. Is is sparkly? yes! Would I wear it alone? no. Does it make my finger green? no. Have any stones fell out? not a one. I wear this ring every day, rain, shine, shower, bath. I only wish it came in half/quarter sizes. I would have liked a 5.75 (wear a 5.5 but swell to a 5.75 in summer & salty food!), but for the price I live with the 6 and wear it behind my e-ring. haaaay. ... show more
