First off the lights are white, not yellow like the pictures show, but they are bright enough to provide ambiance, but not too bright. They were easy to hang, look good surrounding the deck, and have survived the bad weather that we have had for the past weeks. they are good for mood lighting since they are not to dim or bright, but would have been better if they color was more in the yellow hues, but since they are not too bright, the white lights work. ... show more

These string lights are light weight and have a nice glow. What I like is that the bulbs are removable and the package also comes with a replacement bulb, but you can also replace with any bulbs. I also like that they are very easy to add an additional strand with just a standard female plug on one end (or have the ability to plug anything else into it - although you might want to check the manufacturer guidelines for plugging something different into the female end). What I don't like is the cord is a little more like your typical indoor cord and not very heavy duty, also the lights are about 4 feet apart. I would prefer the lights to be closer together. But for the price compared to other string lights, they are a decent value. ... show more

I ordered these string lights for our covered back patio. They seem to be well-made and are the classic Edison style for patio string lights. Just be aware that while the seller's photos show these to be a warm yellow-white, in reality they are a bright cool white light. These aren’t super bright, and that’s actually what I was hoping for. I really enjoy these. I hung them up in my basement to make it a bit less dreary. These give off a very soothing and non-intense light. I have them strung around a patio and they provide a very nice glow that allows you to see what you are doing but without any glare. The only thing I wish is that these were solar so I didn't have to plug them in to use them but they are a very nice string of lights for around a fireplace or grill. ... show more
