    • Always has been great soap and it just works. These refills are very easy to poor
Scent: Fresh Rain Size: 51.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
I’ve been using Dawn Platinum for a while and it’s one of those products that just works. It cuts through grease really well and I don’t need to use a ton of soap to get dishes clean. The refill is also really convenient and saves me from constantly buying another bottle. It’s a simple product, but it does exactly what I need it to do and has been reliable every time. Pros: * Cuts through grease really well * A little goes a long way * Convenient refill * Cleans dishes effectively * Good value Cons: * Nothing major so far Definitely a 5/5 for me. It’s hard to go wrong with Dawn Platinum. ... show more

    • Very, very effective. No complaints at all!
Scent: Fresh Rain Size: 51.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
I’ve had a lot of dish soap in my life as most of us have. I keep circling back to Dawn because it really does cut through grease and oil. I can see why it’s used after oil spills. Other brands might be as effective, but I haven’t encountered one yet so I’m sticking to this name brand. It’s affordable and very effective. So far it removes everything. I would imagine it’s pretty safe if it is used to clean oil off of wildlife. These bottles are decent size but they could be a little bigger. They go farther than you think, but I was expecting jumbo. That’s cool, when they run out, I’ll buy more! More than effective and quite reliable. No complaints at all. ... show more

    • This is an economical way to buy Dawn dish soap!
Scent: Fresh Rain Size: 51.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
Since Don came out I have never used anything but Dawn. It is the best dish soap you can buy it is economical because you need such a little amount of it. If I put it in the power wash bottle about 1 inch and add about 1 in of 90 proof alcohol and fill the rest slowly with cold water I can use this in my power wash bottle. I have even used it to wash my body. I figured that if it could wash animals that are filled with oil from oil spills that it would not hurt my body and it does not. I make my own power wash with leftover power wash bottles and I save a lot of money that way. I love Dawn! This is a really economical way to buy Dawn it never goes bad. In a power washer I use it to dust I use it to clean everything I am so happy with Don and have been for over 50 years! ... show more

    • Great cleaning power in a convenient refill pack
Scent: Fresh Rain Size: 51.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
Dawn Platinum is a great product and this refill pack is convenient if you go through dish soap regularly. It cuts through grease well, so you do not need to use a huge amount to get dishes, pans, and kitchen items clean. I like the refill jug format because it makes more sense than buying small bottles over and over. The pack of two is practical to keep under the sink, and the Fresh Rain scent is pleasant without being the main reason to buy it. Overall, this is exactly what I expect from Dawn Platinum: strong cleaning, good grease removal, and a refill size that lasts. Easy 5 stars for normal kitchen use. ... show more

    • The grease killer I keep rebuying — powerful, fast, and surprisingly economical
Scent: Fresh Rain Size: 32.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I’m not easily impressed by dish soap, but Dawn Platinum earns its name. It cuts through the kind of messes that usually mean “let it soak overnight” — bacon grease film, baked-on casserole corners, air-fryer baskets, stainless pans after searing, even cloudy plastic containers that hold onto food smells. With this, I’m seeing clean, squeaky-rinse results in minutes, not hours. What stands out Serious degreasing power: A pea-sized drop breaks down oil instantly. On heavy pans, two drops in hot water turns brown, greasy water clear as it lifts everything off. Suds that last: The bubbles don’t give up halfway through a sink of dishes; I’m not stopping to re-soap the sponge every few minutes. Rinses clean: No slick residue. Glassware dries without that hazy film, and plastic doesn’t stay “slippery.” Hard-water friendly: I have moderately hard water and still get a strong, stable lather and spotless rinse. Multi-purpose: Beyond dishes, it’s great for stovetop splatters, cabinet handles, range hood filters, and even pre-treating grease on work clothes (test fabrics first). Real-world wins Air fryer baskets & racks: Grease lacquer that usually needs scrubbing melts after a 5-minute soak. Sheet pans & casserole dishes: Corners and baked sugars release with a quick swipe of a scrubber. Blender gaskets & lids: Cuts smoothie oils without leaving a scent behind. How it compares Cheaper soaps need a lot more product and still leave a squeakless film. With Platinum, a little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts longer than the price tag suggests. Performance is closer to a degreaser than a standard dish liquid. Things to know (honest nits) It’s thick. That’s great for power, but the bottle opening can dispense more than you need if you squeeze hard. The fragrance is “clean” but noticeable; if you’re scent-sensitive, you’ll pick it up while washing (it doesn’t linger on dishes). Because it’s concentrated, over-using it can mean extra rinsing — use tiny amounts and you won’t have that issue. Tips for best results Micro-dose it. Start with a small drop on the sponge; add more only if suds collapse. Power soak: For baked-on gunk, a sink of hot water + 1–2 teaspoons of Platinum for 5–10 minutes saves elbow grease. Foaming pump hack: Cut with water (about 1:3 soap to water) in a foaming dispenser for quick wipe-downs and to stretch the bottle. Pre-treat fabric grease: Dab a tiny bit on stains, gently rub, let sit 5 minutes, then launder (spot-test first). Bottom line If you want a dish soap that actually breaks grease instead of just moving it around, Dawn Platinum is the one. It’s fast, efficient, and leaves everything truly clean. Use it sparingly and it becomes cost-effective, too. Five stars without hesitation. ... show more
