I would say it slowly (and I mean as snail slow) absorbs moisture... this is coming from someone who lives in an apartment that doesn't have a fan in the bathroom. Pros: ● These are super easy to "set up". ● Arrived in excellent condition. Cons: ● They don't absorb moisture that well... so it makes me question the quality of the product. ● Appearance-wise, I feel that it looks cheap. Unless you have something to cover it that doesn't fully cover it. ●NOT safe if you have little ones or pets. The top of the product has oval holes that help absorb moisture. If the product were to fall over or your little one was to play with it, the beads would spill out of the top, along with the water collected at the bottom of the product. ... show more

These work so amazing! I have a bathroom that is not well ventilated, although it has a window. If the door is closed after a shower, it smells a bit funky. I placed one of these in an inconspicuous place and I was actually shocked at the amount of water that was collected in one of these after a month.
