  • Spent DAYS trying to pick the best crib
Style: Crib Color: Espresso
As any parent knows, baby shopping can be stressful, it seems like a crib will have 5-star reviews, but then a few mentioning babies getting hurt/killed etc and you think 'I cant take that chance!' For me it was like that, same with chemicals etc. I really wanted to stay away from chemicals, fumes and so on. This was on my small final list, and eventually just went with it. It is amazingly sturdy when assembled (momma rests her entire weight on the railing to kiss baby goodnight), zero fumes (my mattress had more fumes), looks good, solid construction and all around good. It isn't made in america, but I think it was taiwan or something which is better than china. For the price it blows around anything sub $300. I went with it after spending literal days trying to find the right one, you'll probably like it too. ... show more

  • It is well made very sturdy, the only problem I have with it now ...
Style: Crib Color: Espresso
It is well made very sturdy, the only problem I have with it now is that my 9 month old sometimes gets his legs caught in between the wood gaps. He does move a lot when he sleeps so I have to put him in a sleep sack to avoid him getting up due to that.

  • Terrible (non-existent) customer service - steer clear
Style: Crib Color: White
This is a terrible crib product. It looks cheap and feels cheap. The white paint was unevenly applied and rubs off easily (how is that safe for the baby?). The wooden pieces arrived cracked. Look at my pictures. The quality is absolutely disgusting. It gets worse - customer service is non-existent. There is no way to reach a human being. You have to leave a voicemail, to which no one will ever reply. I’m really disappointed. Davinci Kalani turned out to be a huge waste of money and a huge waste of time I honestly don’t know where the five-star reviews are coming from. Are they fake reviews? ... show more

  • Going strong for 4+ years
Style: Crib Color: Grey
We bought this crib for our first kiddo in 2016 -- it's beautiful and worked great. Our first kid never climbed out (probably just a good kid ;) and we transitioned him to a "big kid bed" in time to move this into his little sister's room. It moved and re-assembled pretty easily. Little sister has been sleeping in it since so we've been using it continuously for 4+ years and it's going strong. 2-year-old sister started climbing out so we transitioned it to a toddler bed and it works well for that too. Our kids play on it hard -- climbing over the sides and jumping onto it and it has held up well. FWIW this dresser matches it well and is higher quality than the DaVinci one: Delta Children Universal 6 Drawer Dresser, Grey, https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DPH3YT8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ... show more

  • Top tier in safety and looks great. An excellent buy if you're in the crib market.
Style: Crib Color: Grey
This crib gets pretty constant excellent ratings for safety. That's why I bought it. All of the reviews place this crib at, or near the top with respect to safety. So I won't really touch on that. What I will say is that it looks great, it's really easy to put together and allows the kid to grow into this as a real bed. Since it isn't too frilly and crib like one the head and foot, I can see this becoming a really decent twin bed when she gets older. Shipping was pretty good. The box was banged up a bit on arrival, but the crib itself was undamaged. No dents, dings, or scratches on the wood. Build was relatively easy compared to the dresser/changing table, but as others have remarked the instructions are nothing to write home about. The good news is that there are really only a handful of pieces and they make logical sense. Total build time for this was around 1 hour with one person. I can't speak to durability yet, since the kid isn't born but it appears to be well built. The grey looks to be solidly painted on, so maybe some of the quality issues others have remarked on have been repaired. I wasn't gentle with it while putting it together and still have no dents or scrapes. I'm sure a little kid can find a way though. All in all I have a really positive impression of this crib. Would definitely buy again if I had to. ... show more

  • Totally worth the price, great quality!
Style: Crib Color: Espresso
This crib is well worth the price! It is gorgeous and sturdy. Zero complaints on quality and my husband had it fully assembled in 1 hour. Totally worth it! We mix and matched other furniture pieces so we didn't purchase a set, and I'm so glad we didn't. This saved us a ton of money and the quality is great. Fits the standard crib mattress. It looks much more expensive and the design is very attractive, I couldn't be happier with this crib! ... show more

  • Solid crib for the money that should last
Style: Crib Color: Espresso
We purchased one of these cribs as a "test mule" for our upcoming triplets. After assembling and getting a feel for it's quality and weight, we purchased two more. It was well-packed and the parts were protected from damage inside. It came with all of the fasteners with no missing items, and the directions were clear and easy to follow for assembly. The materials are of decent quality, better than expected for the price, and goes together in a sturdy manner that I would expect to last. The mattress platform (mattress not included) is height adjustable with four screws, and would take a few minutes to do, but is easy enough without any other disassembly required. The toddler rail is packed in it's own cardboard wrapper, so it was easy to set them aside for use down the road. Overall the crib has good weight and feel to it, and is better built than many others we looked at in local stores. Photo shows the mattress in its highest position. Initial assembly time was about an hour from start to finish (If you happen to build three, you can get it down to about 25 minutes). We were happy enough with the unit to buy three! ... show more

  • Better Than Expected
Style: Crib Color: Espresso
My husband and I purchased this for our daughter and son-in-law in anticipation of the birth of a first grandchild (a girl) as one of their baby shower gifts. I researched quite awhile before I settled on this crib. It is more beautiful in person than the picture and was easy to assemble. Best thing is that it can convert to a toddler bed and then a bed for when they are older. Anticipate that all their children will start their life in this crib purchased by us. It is a tradition in my family that the grandparents purchase the crib for their daughter's child and this did not disappoint. The soon to be parents are thrilled! ... show more
