Mask was comfortable and easy to wear. The elastic band that held it on is strong and didn't break, as I had feared it would. It worked just fine for a 7yr child. The Cape is pretty short though.

Worked well with my son’s vader jammies to make a decent Halloween costume. The shape of the helmet is very tall and looked kind of odd to me, but overall he loved it. It didn’t stay on super well, but worked for the three times he wore it.

Kiddo loves it but did say it is a little hard to see out of the eyes. Kind of blurry but not a deal breaker. He wore it all day at Disney, no problem. Cape is thin and fir well.

Despite my 6 year old loving it, I am not as thrilled. First , the foam/padding piece that rests on the forehead came off, so until I can replace that, it slides down his little face. Second, the Velcro on each end of the elastic pieces for the mask refuse to stick together and I ended up sewing them with a few hand stitches so the mask would quit popping off him while wearing. Third, the material of the cape snags so easily on the Velcro closure if you are not careful, but I have found this to be true with other costume pieces we have had that were also this kind of fabric. The length of the cape was good, it came between his ankles and knees and the mask seems fairly sturdy. Overall, I don't think I would purchase again as I don't feel it is worth $20+ with all the problems above.

I bought this set to supplement part of my Darth Vader costume. Most women's Vader costumes do not include masks, so I thought getting this set would solve that problem. In truth, trying to be thrifty doesn't always pay off. This is absolutely child-size. I thought I could make it work being a woman with a small face/head, but I thought wrong. I can put it on, but there is no way I would be able to wear this comfortably for an evening, as an adult (even a small adult). This does, however, make an excellent addition to my costume trunk, should my niece decide she wants to be Darth Vader for the day. The cape is just cheap polyester, and rather short. The mask is pretty heavy-duty; though, the strap that secures it is just thin elastic with velcro attached.

I bought this for my three year old grandson who is currently obsessed with Darth Vadar. He not only wore it to his "Darth Vadar" themed birthday party but it was also his Halloween costume and almost daily breakfast attire lol. This is a rough and tumble little guy so for a $9 costume to last through all that is amazing! I was afraid it would be very cheaply made but it is absolutely worth the $$$ and he just loved it.

I wore this for a burlesque act and it was hilarious, in a good way. The half mask was easier to deal with, especially because I was wearing a wig that had been styled, but it got the point across. I bought this as a back up costume, and then on the night of the show a guy had the real-deal Darth Vader helmet, but it fogged up when I breathed...which I do often...so the half mask was actually better than the real deal. The cape comes down to you butt...ish. The helmet is clearly meant for a child-person. But it was fun and did the job.
