"These are the best darn socks!" That's my husband's favorite line every time he puts these on. He works outdoors so is on his feet most of the day & he can't believe that a sock can make such a difference in how comfortable his feet stay all day. He usually wears the low, ankle height socks but wanted to try these for winter. The big selling points for him are that they're still made in Vermont and have been in business for 40 years, and they have a lifetime warranty. They're more expensive than most other brands of socks but he's a firm believer in the benefits of Merino wool, especially for outdoor work or play. These socks are legit. I ordered them for everyday use and they did spectacular. Tested them when I went to the snow and it was 7 degrees and my feet felt fine. Definitely can ruin a day if your feet are freezing and now these are my go to socks

Above all merino wool socks, these are the flagship of socks in all categories. They keep my feet cool when my boots get too warm, and they keep my feet warm when my boots get too cold. They are excellent insulating socks that practically eliminate sweaty feet for me. I am not making any medical claims, but having severe neuropathy in my legs and feet, I noticed a significant decrease in pain the first month I wore these. After 5 years, my neuropathy pain is reduced so much, I feel like it is 5-10% of where it was before wearing these socks. They are just great socks and worth every penny.
