This brace is easy to use and the air bag system helps mildly on my sciatic nerve pain. It needs a pouch to hold the air fill bulb. As far as braces I really don't feel it has much merit. It's basically an elastic wrap and offers no sturdy support. Would not recommend. Get a referral from a Doctor and have your Insurance pay for a sturdy brace that actually adds support. ... show more

This brace gives the perfect support for my lower back that I needed. It fits around my body in the right way and is super adjustable. I would however consider getting a size smaller then you think you need because of the adjustability. (It's easier to make it tighter then looser in my opinion) The thin metal support parts are also positioned in the right place for my size body. If you ever have a herniated disc, and looking towards surgery for it this is a wonderful brace to use prior to surgery. It relieves your pain just enough to help you do your physical therapy and sleep. Please know it does not take all the pain away but it does help you when it comes to your pain management, I’ve had to take a less painkillers which is a wonderful thing. Even though my surgeon did not want me using any back brace, physical therapist suggested me looking into it just to be able to help relieve some of the discomfort and it did work. Again it does not take all your pain away it just makes it more comfortable for you to do your exercise’s and sleep, I do not plan on using it after the surgery because I do not want to become dependent on it. ... show more
