  • Highly recommend for bassists!
At first I was thinking I was going to return this. But then after checking forums on Facebook, the help from other uses, and them recommending me reach out to Darkglass. The Darkglass people are top knotch customer service! They guided me through my problems with easy instructions! Highly recommend this to any bass players out there! This is made for us! My favorite things about this are the drop tune features and the compressors. ... show more

  • NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME
NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME. Giving it a 1 because it looks nice (and I have to), but this frustrating device would not connect to Mac. I tried multiple high quality cables, a USB hub, nothing. Went to a Windows computer and it did connect. Flashed the latest firmware and guess what? It erased all presets. There's a frustrating manual process to get them back 1 by 1, but there's no easy factory reset option. Also there is no power button. If it's plugged in it's on. This is a 1979 Ford Pinto in a Corvette body. Embrace your Line 6 HX Stomp and be happy. Steer clear of Finland. ... show more

  • The Last Pedal You’ll Ever Buy
I think this thing is absolutely amazing. I put out a lot of money and time to put together a pedal board, with all the pedals that everybody said you had to have, and the first preset I tried on this sounded better than that. There are a lot of great presets, clean and distorted. I primarily use the clean presets. Also, on the dark glass suite, which you have to use currently through your PC (will soon be available on the app), there’s a community page where you can find presets that other users have uploaded. There are a lot of really cool ones on there. I love the fact that I don’t have to take a bunch of pedals with me when playing. This is the only one I use now. It’s super easy to pack up and set up once I get there, and I don’t have to worry about adjusting (or accidentally bumping) knobs. also I love that if you hold it down to go to the tuner, the middle switch becomes a mute button. So I just leave the tuner on when I’m performing because it’s always in the tune mode, and I can just mute it with one click. Slight con I would mention with it is the compression seems a little bit weak. When I turn input up to get more compression, it does take away some of the sound that I’m liking. Some might find it helpful to have an external compressor. It’s also possible that I’m not using it properly, but between these compressors and front house it’s not gonna be worth it for me to have an extra pedal with the required patch cables, power supply, and a pedal board. I’m done with all that for good! ... show more
