First off, it's exactly what's in the picture, minutes the cloths and gloves and such. It's heavy, metal armor with a black stain. It feels like wearing a metal trash can, which is exactly what you want if your looking to buy plate armor. The need to protect the holy land and slay a dragon increased ten-fold just when I put the helmet on. It's 30 pounds of metal that will make you grow chest hairs and a code of chivalry. It arrived very well packaged and protected with oil (to prevent rust) and bubble wrap. Each piece is pretty well crafted for the price. The arm and leg armor fits snug, with straps that are riveted in. The helmet is a close fit, with the chain mail especially. The torso is where size matters. It's "tall" enough for my size and I got the 'XL', I'm 6ft and we're a 2x in mens shirts and 36 in men's pants (US sizes). However, it's lacking in the belly. If you have a dad bod, beer gut, gamer gut, or any kind of belly it'll be snug. The only real issue I found is the straps for the torso armor and connecting the pauldrons are way too short. The armor covers what it needs to, but I'm forced to buy extra straps to add to it and make it fit better. Over all not a bad purchase. It is coming from over seas (for us US folks) so if your event you want it for is in 5 days, it won't make it. Shipping took longer than expected, had to reach out for an update by which they shipped it once I sent that message to the sellers. Comes oiled as other reviews said, and it does run small. Looks exactly as described like the other reviews too. 6ft and above average build makes it feel very tight like a corset for the chest-plate, so size up generously if you are bigger built. It's a little uncomfortable (since it is not bespoke) and very warm (as most armor tend to be when wearing with layers). Prepare accordingly and expect it to be bulky; but only after waiting and requesting an update after 2 weeks or so. Depends on your luck. ... show more

Exactly what I expected 600 dollar armor to be it was light aluminum armor that would fine when worn wouldn’t buy this if your over 6 feet tall even at 5’11 this armor was a touch short. Between all the flipping up and down one of the helmet screws came undone on me there is some malfunctions but it’s perfect for some room decor on an armor stand or a cool costume to wear to ren faire I would just recommend some towels and a good degreaser the day of arrival a lot of oil came on everything and when it comes to the coif I would recommend about 2-3 soaks in dishsoap water if you would like to wear it. ... show more
