I wanted to add a few more mirrors to my bathroom for times that I’m curling my hair and can’t see the back. I’m not very good a mapping things out, so I think I would need to get something bigger to do what I need. With that said, I will not fault the seller for my mistake (of just needing something bigger.) although I wasnt able to use it as I intended, I still put the mirror up because It’s cute, very dainty and has no pretenses. (Side note: The description does say that it’s acrylic and that’s exactly what it is: a piece of acrylic with mirror-like qualities.) The mirror itself does not have any distorting. I can use it just as I would any other mirror in my house. I love the size. I had a small space in my second bathroom (that needed something) and it fit perfectly. It arrived in one piece and perfectly packaged and also included exact instructions on how to remove the film on front and best way to hang. Overall: it’s really small - but I like that. It’s an acrylic - which I also don’t mind. The shape is cute and adds a little pizazz to my little bathroom. I’m very pleased with it and think it would be a great piece in a children’s room or something similar, or just for fun to fill up a small space ... show more

This small scalloped mirror arrived with double sided adhestive, step by step instructions with images how to arrange the adhesive to the back of the mirror and to remove the protective film AFTER you adhere it to the wall (this prevents the mirror from getting lots of fingerprints while you are putting it up) - very thoughtful. Also, since the mirror is acrylic reminder not to use organic solvents, glass cleaner, alcohol, or turpentine - just wipe the mirror gently with soapy water + lint free/soft cloth. We got this for my daughters room (7yo), she really likes it and I feel safer that it's not a breakable or heavy mirror - it's lightweight and lets her brush her hair without needing to take up the restroom that she shares with her older brother before heading out to school. ... show more

This mirror is simple, but pretty. Once you remove the protective film (if you choose to do so), it has the clarity of a glass mirror. As with all acrylic mirrors, however, it does scratch easily. I recommend cleaning it with a soft microfiber cloth or other lens-rated cloth. At $11.99, it's a good value for such an attractive mirror.
