I really love these Danskos. Well, Danskos in general are great. No breaking them in, just wear and walk. These are so comfortable and stylish. I’m typically a flip flop girl but these sandals elevate even a casual look plus I love that I can get a little bit of height yet still feel stable. The Velcro closure is very accommodating and stays put. My other closed toe Danskos are 36 so I ordered these in a 36 even though I’m normally a 6 1/2 in other shoes. My big toe just makes the cut so if you have long toes you may want to order next size up. For me these work because I have thin feet so the 37 would have too much of a gap under the top of the sandal . I have a pretty bad case of plantar fasciitis + a bone spur that causes my feet to pretty much hate all shoes. I have been wearing Flux shoes for two years, which are amazing. They just are not super cute for summer. I thought I would branch out and try these Dansko, and to my surprise, my feet have done pretty well. They hurt a little, but I force myself to stand and walk on a walking pad all day. Lets face it - shoes for wide feet are either comfortable but ugly or the reverse. These shoes break the mold. So pretty and so comfortable. Lightweight - well constructed. I cant recommend them more.

    • Runs a bit small

Love them and they are sooooo comfortable. I took off one star because the sizing is weird. I always wear an 8 and a 38 always fits perfectly in Dansko but this is a tiny bit short. I'd like to see how the 39 fits but I'm not ordering another pair just to test it. :)

    • I can wear them all day and they don’t hurt my feet.

I have been experiencing a lot of foot pain. Any shoe that I put on including house shoes hurt my feet these shoes have been a godsend. They are so comfortable and they don’t look so bad. I may order them in a different color.

Very comfortable. Can wear with a dress or with casual clothing. Perfect for any occasion. Buckle around ankle is Velcro & so is the portion over the foot so you can adjust the fit slightly which is nice. I hope they last long.
