Have always loved this style and brand. Once upon a time, I had many, in size 37. Before I could wear them out, they got too small. So I thought I'd get a 38. Judging by my size in other shoes, I thought that would be the 8.5-9 listed. No - it is the 7.5-8. I guess that surprises me, because I wear an 8 or 8.5 depending on the style and whether I expect to wear thick socks. I figured the 7.5-8 would be way too small for anything but the thinnest of socks (if even). Nope, I ordered 2 pair, one of each size, and the 7.5-8 (aka 38) fits great even with thicker socks. The 8.5-9 (aka 39) is way too big with thin and even thick socks. The 38 gives enough room in the heel that it should not rub. Also, I have average to wide feet with a decent bunion on one foot, and these are quite roomy enough in the toe box. Happy feet = big smile! ... show more

when you work in medical field the amount of moving and how fast you need to move will determine what shoes you need to work in. this shoe is for alot of walking but not in a fast pace unless yoh are use to the weight of the shoe great for medical assistants who walk alot on the unit and for nurses who know how to pace their workload. but if you are a tech who are constantly walking mostly face pace this show is a little too heavy unless your flat feet really need the support. ... show more

❤️I love these shoes! $$$ Worth every penny $$$ PRO TIP: Do NOT “break in” these shoes. Get a size up if they’re tight. The idea of having to break a shoe in is from trying to make cheap, poorly made shoes fit your feet. These will be amazing out of the box if you just buy the correct size and stop trying to fit your size 9 feet into a 7 shoe. Make sure you leave a finger width of wiggle room at your heel. This is KEY to best fit. Your heel should rise up a bit when you walk and should not really touch the back of the shoe when you’re walking or standing. This makes sure you have room to freely move toes in the toe box and keeps your heel from getting blisters from rubbing. I am a 7 and sized up to the 7.5/8 and it’s just perfect. See their fit recommendation video in product pictures. I ordered “black box leather” and I’m soooo in love that I’m saving up for the patent leather and the slide clogs, and thinking about the clog bootie shoe as well. As a teacher, I’m on my feet 8-10 hours a day and while no shoe will relieve pain 100%, these shoes come the closest to helping my back and feet. I also wear these shopping and cooking and for watering my backyard. They’re water and slip resistant, and when they’re spattered with cooking oil they wipe clean and look good as new. I’ve tried cheap clogs from target that look as awful as they feel. Save your money and invest in Danskos. They look great, will last forever, and will get you through your day. ... show more

I have had Dansko clogs before and was a bit disappointed in the comfort of this shoe. I’m on my feet a lot as I am in healthcare and these actually don’t have that much support. I may try a better insole to see if that helps. Style and color were very pleasing.

If you need to stand behind a cash register, this would be a great shoe. I found them a little clumsy to walk in. . .maybe because they are a clog. If you need a shoe for standing in one place for long periods, this shoe is great. Very supportive. Enough tilt to the shoe that back does not hurt.

Gorgeous clog and high quality as I'd expect from Dansko but I'm a true 8.5 and this is the 1st time an 8.5 is too big and not just a bit. The heal doesn't come close to the back of the shoe and the heal to mid-foot area is too wide and again not just a bit. I bet the 8 would fit fine there but since the toe box was perfect I'm afraid on the 8 it would be too small. So there you have it. I guess clogs don't like me. ... show more

Got these for $88 compared to the $125 regular priced Dansko’s. They are a brownish plum color. Fits as expected. These are my 4 th pair of dansko clogs. They sent me the wrong colored shoes the first time and I had to return them.

Only complaint I have is that the pattern on the shoe is very thin. If you rub the shoe on something, the flower pattern comes right off. Other than that, so comfortable!
