I love these danksko sneakers. I ordered a pair in gray from QVC and liked them so much I wanted another pair for just around the house. They stabilize my ankle and my knees stop making cracking noises when I put them on. I don't wear any other walking shoe. From now on, it's just these. They are very well made, fit true to size, and have good arch support. They are so special because the sole of the shoe is wider than the foot bed and that makes them feel super stable and keeps my foot from rocking inward due to the ankle rolling in. You can order a 1/2 size larger than you normally would wear and put in a custom orthotic. I ordered my normal size (7.5/8) and I had more than enough room to spare for an orthotic if I wanted one. My mom ordered her normal size (9) but she couldn't fit the orthotic comfortably. So she ordered the 9.5 and they fit perfectly with the orthotic. Great shoe. Would recommend to anyone who wants a light shoe that is well made, cushioned, stable, and comfortable. ... show more

Amazing! Great fit! Comfortable for 12 hour shifts! I unfortunately had a blood spill today and it DID NOT GO THROUGH THE SNEAKERS! CLEANED RIGHT OFF DID NOT GO THROUGH MESH ON SNEAKERS INTO SNEAKERS! Nurse life you know what I’m talking about! Couldn’t be more satisfied!!

Edited 12/14/2023 I received these mid-September 2023 and was really excited to try them out. They were REALLY tight on my toes. After a few weeks, they the toe box area has stretched and these are very comfortable. I've been wearing them daily for 3 months now. My plantar fasciitis is gone and I'm very pleased with these shoes. Will buy again. Original review 9/2023 I was given a gift card for my birthday that covered most of the cost of this shoe, so I decided to bite the bullet and buy them. I have plantar fasciitis, so been dealing with a fair amount of constant foot pain when walking in other shoes. I wear size 10 and bought 9.5-10 wides because I felt 10.5-11 would be too big. The shoes fit great, except in the toe box - they are so tight I had to clip my toenails because they're so smushed together. It's not comfortable in the toe area, but has alleviated my plantar fasciitis pain, so I've continued wearing them (this is my 6th day) hoping that they'll stretch a little. Hoping they get better, because these are expensive and not something I would typically spend so much money on. ... show more

    • Toe box is narrow, in case you have a bunion or orthotic
Comfort only a four because: I love Dansko and was so happy to find they'd designed a sneaker type shoe. That said, it is narrow in the toe box and this is a consideration especially if you have a bunion and/or need to use orthotics. They cut my custom orthotics to fit this shoe. But after a few weeks of wearing them I have to report that my toes hurt after a few hours of light walking from the squeeze of the narrow toe box.     • Nice arch and stable sole.
I ordered 38 wide and normally wear a women’s US 7.5 Medium, they did not feel too wide, the upper material is a flexible mesh similar to the HOKA brand. But do not look super huge on your feet like the HOKA’s do. They are lightweight and very comfortable the footbed has a decent arch it is removable and could be replaced with orthotics. They have enough stability in the soles so I did not feel like my foot was supinating. (Tilting out). I did not have my heal pain while wearing them at work and I stand and walk around at my job. These are comfortable shoes, unfortunately the workmanship is shoddy. I ordered my first pair and they ripped along the seam just above the inside of the arch. I was hoping the ripping was an anomaly and ordered a second pair, a few months later that pair also ripped in the same spot, and for the duration I was wearing the second pair one shoe squeaked the whole time. Love these shoes. size is accurate,no more foot pain, back pain, knee pain. I wear the same style because it works the dame over the years. They are light weight durable very stylish i got the pink deep purple, but they are not water proof. My last pair lasted 2+ years. You will be happy.

    • Dansko always an amazing shoe!!
This is Dansko so you know you’re going to get a great shoe. This shoe is an investment for my feet. I use these for work and when I say I walk a lot for my job I am not kidding! I easily do 5 miles in a shift. These are incredibly comfortable and light weight on the feet. They have excellent support and my feet don’t hurt at the end of the shift. Best part is that I can move and flex in these and they don’t make you think about them. I will also say that my only con, which isn’t much is that unlike Dansko clogs these won’t afford your feet much protection if you kick hard surfaces or say have a hospital stretcher roll up on it. Yep, in these you will move those feet fast to keep them out of the way! 😂 ... show more
