Based on the reviews, I was sure how these would go. They are my new favorites!!! I bought these as I needed a bootie and I LOVE clog boots. I live where it’s very wet in the fall and winter so my wood Sanintas take a good hit every year, though they have held up beyond expectation. These Danskos have a water friendly bottom which will be great! I wear a size 37 and these fit true to size. They were also evenly made. Some people stated one was bigger or smaller. This was not my experience. They also do not cut into my ankle. Even on the stairs. I’m absolutely thrilled about these and I’m glad I took the chance because they are sooo worth it!!! Please never stop making these boots. I have two pairs and wear them constantly through fall, winter, and spring. I started wearing this brand as barn shoes, and now that I have joint and back pain, I couldn’t do without them! These are much more elegant looking than my original low ones. They are very solid when walking yet still look nice and add a bit of height (which I love.) They’re comfortable on any surface, including bricks and cobblestones. These are absolutely adorable! They have the classic rocker style, and the arch support is fabulous! Super easy to pull on, no problem whatsoever, and no shoe horn needed! They are terrific Dansko quality, beautiful and made like they will last for a very long time! Usual Dansko bootie! I bought these and the Becca booties to see which ones I liked better. Love them both, pretty much identical boots. Sending these back because they are $50 more than the Becca's, and are very much alike. These did run just a bit too big. I am always a size 7.5-8 in all my Dansko's, but these are a little too big. My heel kept slipping up and down when I walked. Other than that they are a great buy for anyone! Both gorgeous boots that I know will last a very long time! Highly recommend, just have to play around with the sizing. I did have a sock on when I tried these, but still slipped a bit. I’ve worn the regular clogs for years and thought I’d switch it up a little. I got the mules which I don’t like as much I guess because i prefer the grip of a heel back. These short boots I love especially now that the weather is closer. They are just as comfortable as the regular clogs but of course you need to wear longer socks and I would not wear them without socks because of chafing around the ankle. I have been buying Dansko clogs for 30 years. Have always ordered the same size, 42; never had a problem with sizing until this order. The seller was great, but the clogs were too small by a full size, while the size marked was my usual 42. Ugh. Had to return and no larger ones to try…

I have been using Dansko clogs for decades so when I was wishing for a slightly higher shoe this seemed like a no-brainer choice. Got the same size as always works in the clog and it fits the same. My one complaint about the clogs is the instep's a bit low and I hoped the elastic gussets on these would help with that and it may have a little but mostly the fit was the same as the other Danskos I have. Predictability is nice especially shopping online. But I hated them for several reasons. One is that there are seams right where the widest part of the foot presses against the sides of the shoe. Couldn't find a worse place for seams really. Second bad idea is the height being just tall enough to tap the edge against the shin when you bend, which is minorly irritating walking but torture on stairs. If it was an inch lower or taller it would be past the area that bends and no prob but this height just... like with the seams it couldn't really be worse. You do not want to feel the stiff edge of the leather poke poke poking your shin with every step. I'm not sure if it would result in scrapes or blisters after awhile as I tore them off after one minute. Third design flaw is the loop on the heel that exists to allow you to pull the shoe on. These are tiny, so you can't get a finger in the hole except maybe the little finger but it can't provide the needed angle much less force. If you use shoe horns like I do maybe you wouldn't use the pull loop anyway so it may not be a big factor, but I still find it obnoxious they put a part on there that is unusable for its intended purpose. I don't know how a company that makes such an iconic, beloved shoe as the Dansko Professional can make such a bad design. Very surprised and disappointed. The return process was easy though and the packaging was adequate but not excessive so I give the seller props. Just did not like this particular product. ... show more
