This was a great buy! These shoes are very comfortable but the straps rub my feet and I have to use some moleskin tape under them to protect the tops of my feet under the buckles. I'm hoping they break in and stop rubbing. Otherwise they are perfect!

I am somewhat disappointed in this shoe. I've bought Dansko for over 20 years and this one is not of a quality I would recommend. The "leather" top and straps are somewhat cheap looking and the heel is skimpy.

Description of the closure method is unclear. It states that it is an adjustable hook & loop strap with buckle detail and in actuality it is nothing more than a Velcro closure which isn't at all adjustable. Also after trying them on I found them to be extremely uncomfortable and caused my arches to hurt almost immediately. Very disappointed as they are a beautiful looking sandal.

These ARE NOT as adjustable as advertised. Love the look and the quality BUT the strap adjusts just slightly (to the extent of the velcro) and then the velcro no longer stays attached. I tried to deal with it but began walking in them and walked right out of them when the velcro could no longer stay attached (because not enough was connected due to having to adjust the strap to fit my foot). If you don't try to wrap them tightly around your ankle/heel you'll walk right out as well because they're too loose.
