I had to return these. I do not understand the sizing from this company. If you look up the sizes of this shoe from another company that I have ordered from in the past, they have a clearly stated size 37. These shoes were a 38; too long; too big. I thought I was ordering a 37. Will not order from this company again. Will go back to my other company which is, by the way, not affiliated with Amazon. Also, I thought the shoe felt heavier than my other Dansko sandals that I have ordered for many years now. My older shoes have never felt heavy on my feet.

Great brand, quality leather, yet after a whole day of wearing the sandals, my feet ached. Needs more cushion in the ball and heel of the shoe.

I ordered these sandals because I needed a comfortable dressy shoe to wear with a light colored summer dress. I have a painful condition that makes it difficult to find comfortable shoes I can wear, but Dansko has been reliable. My other Danskos fit well, so I ordered the same size. Unfortunately these are so loose they flop around like I’m a 10 year old in my mom’s shoes. I really couldn’t speak to the comfort since I cannot wear these at all. On a separate note, these didn’t arrive in Dansko packaging. They were in a box that was made like a sneaker box, without anything printed on it. No where does it say the shoe style, brand, size, color… it really felt like they were pulled from a bin and plopped into a generic box.

I’m a decades-long fan of Dansko. One of the most significant changes that they made years ago was changing their “elastic & buckle” closures for the straps on their shoes to a faux buckle on top of a Velcro closure on the straps. That change made it incredibly easy to not only close the straps on the shoes but to also do micro-adjustments to the fit of the shoe. So, explain to me why Dansko would change such a winning method back to the past? Believe me, nostalgia alone isn’t enough reason to make this change. I couldn’t believe it when I saw that these shoes has regressed to the old buckle-and-elastic closures of the past. Is the shoe cute? Yes. Does it fit well? No idea since I had no intention of doing a double twist, half gainer just to buckle the shoe back up. I returned the pair.
