I cannot say enough good things about these shoes! I am a runner, am also on my feet teaching all day, and after years of wearing cheap shoes that look nice, it took a toll on my body. So, a friend recommended this brand and while it was so difficult for me to pay this kind of money, I am so glad I did. These are SO comfortable and I am serious when I say I could run in these if I had to! (Not that I would want to, but just to emphasize the comfort.) I have since bought several more pairs. They also hold up beautifully and look like new after much use. I also keep them conditioned with leather cleaner that I bought online from Dansko. I think you should absolutely give these a try!

I love wearing these shoes to work, they are so cute and comfortable. They were easy to break in and didn't give me any blisters. The only downside is that the footbed started peeling/looking gross kind of early into wearing them.

I have a narrow foot. Size 7 1/2 US. Ordered the size 37 as I had a similar style in a 37 that fit perfectly and are comfortable for standing in all day. However this style (Sam) was just a tad too short. They are so pretty, and look like they’d last a long time. I returned them and ordered a size 38. I can’t wait to get the size 38, and hopefully be able to give a five star review if they fit. Danskos are not only comfortable on my feet, but they offer good support so that my back and legs don’t hurt. I really hope these fit in this color because they are neutral and should go with pants, jeans, dresses and skirts. I got the 38 and put an insert in the bed of the toe box as seen in the first picture. I wear a 71/2 US size which puts me between a 37 and 38 size. Some Danskos I wear a 37 and some a 38. I think these will work in the 38 with the half insoles for the toe bed. They are beautiful!

inspect carefully! These shoes are adorable and very comfortable HOWEVER after wearing them once I noticed discoloration on the toes of BOTH shoes. This is very disappointing given how expensive they were and now I'm wondering if these were second quality and that is why they are being sold on Amazon. Took maybe 3 wears to break in. They started off tight around edge of the toe box and dug in to my feet a little, but after a few wears they were better. I've been wearing dansko Sam's religiously for years, tried many other shoes and none compare. Can work 10 plus hour shifts on concrete walking 10 plus miles in these and have little to no discomfort during or at the end of the day. They are pretty non slip, as well. I probably put around 5k miles on my last pair. I swear by these for restaurant work. Great firm support.
