I have hard to fit feet, wide in the toes, and narrow heel. The strap along the toes don't press on my bunion. My toes have wiggle room. The top of my arch is low, so I love how the middle strap can keep the shoe firm on my foot. The ankle strap keeps my heel snug in the shoe. The arch support helps with my pronation. There is a bounce in your step when walking in these. Love the cushioning. I love everything about this shoe. The price is steep!!! But man it's worth it to me for a great fitting shoe.

These shoes are NOT black at all. The strap is different shades of green. I wish the straps were independently adjustable. There is one strap on top of the foot and one around the back. I have a clicking sound from my feet raising when I walk. I am in the fence about whether I will be keeping them. They have great arch support.

I really love this shoe, except it's NOT BLACK. It's grey -- I cannot wear grey. It makes me feel tired and depressed (nice color, just can't wear it). I read another Amazon review of a different Dansko sandal where the person was also complaining that the shoe is *not black* and therefore didn't go with her black pants. The comfort of this shoe is pretty decent, but there's one big flaw: in the heel area, Dansko has a raised cushion with the Dansko logo, and it almost seems 3D-printed or maybe injection-molded, because there are little bumps that stick up around the letters and poke into your heel. If you have a Dremel you could probably remove them, but why should you have to? The straps are adjustable enough even for my D-width feet, which is a plus. These would probably also fit people with narrower feet as well since they're adjustable. The cushioning feels good and the arch is supportive without being too aggressive on my low flexible arch. If you have very high arches, these might not come up high enough for you, but if you have a medium or low arch, these should work well. I really like the styling of this sandal and I hope Dansko releases it in more colors besides grey, faded rose, and faded green (sage). Not everyone can wear faded/washed out colors; some of us want true black.

Wore this on and off for the last 3 months, notice the sole on both sandals are coming apart! So unhappy. I expect more for a sandal priced at over a hundred dollars. Disappointed with Dansko or whoever was subcontracted to make these. Is there a warranty?

These sandals are so incredibly comfortable! I have planters fasciitis in my left foot, and it had been bothering me since summer began. I knew I needed something more supportive. These sandals are perfect! There is arch support, and the thick base also keeps the morton neuromas in my feet from becoming aggravated. The plastic part near the toes has a soft padded lining so it doesn't rub or sit on the foot. I've never been able to wear sandals like these before because that piece always caused my feet pain. Not these sandals! I really cannot say enough just how comfortable and supportive they are. The only complaint I do have is that the color really isn't accurate. These are definitely gray, not black.
