Description

Wyatt is a casual moc-front Oxford with rich full grain leathers and classic detailing. Comfort features include a removable triple density footbed for optimal arch support and a PU midsole for shock absorption and energy return. Outsole is slip-resistant on most dry, wet and oily-wet surfaces. Ahhhhh, Dansko. There you go again. Doing your all-day comfort thing. Making us feel so good on our feet. With excellent arch support and legendary comfort, you let us stand longer than ever. And with great styles in a range of heel heights, you have us feeling all tingly inside, just like the day we first met. When wife and husband team, Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup discovered the world's most comfortable shoe in a tiny shop in Denmark in 1990, they just had to bring some home for their friends. When their friends tried them on, they told their friends. And just like that, a shoe company was born. Now Dansko not only sells their original clogs, but also heels, boots, sandals, wedges and flats too! Every style features the Dansko DNA - materials and construction carefully selected to promote good foot, leg and back health, so that you can stand better, for longer. Say goodbye to choosing between looking good and feeling good. And say hello to having it all.

  • Best Shoes I've Owned in Years
I walk and stand on my feet 5 out of 8 hr shift at work in a school with hard tile/concrete floors. Last week my one knee started hurting and although I know I have some arthritis in my joints, this was the first time it really bothered me. I researched and shopped for shoes that are good for concrete floors, and these seemed to have the highest reviews. I bought them, this is the third day I'm wearing them and my knee pain is just about completely gone. Was the pain on the way out any way? Don't know, but even without pain, these shoes are super comfortable for me. I take a wide 10 size in shoes, but when you buy these they are labled in metric system. There is a conversion chart so you know what size to buy. With me it was a 44 size. I had my doubts whether they would fit ok, but they were perfect for my feet. They are a wide shoe any way so no problem. I highly recommend them if you have to work on hard floors all day. ... show more

  • Phenomenal shoes for F&B
Size: 9.5-10 Color: Black
Like most servers, I'm on my feet a lot. I've heard the hype for years and decided to spend the money. After the first week I thought I had been had but they just weren't broken in yet. After 2 weeks they were very comfortable. And now after 4 months of use they've completely molded to my foot and are comfortable through long doubles. ... show more

A nice dress shoe if you wanted to be Frankenstein for Halloween or were a nurse. Wasn’t my cup of tea.

  • Stiff at first, then becomes the best shoes ever!
Size: 9.5-10 Color: Black
I've worn several brands of shoes over the years. I spend approximately 8-12 hours a day on my feet, varying from not stop walking to standing in front of a classroom for 4 hours at a time. I have borderline wide feet, I usually wear 9.5 E or (more commonly) 10 D shoe. The last two "best" shoes I have worn in the past is Red Wing, but the stores stop carrying the shoes I usually wear. I liked them considering that they usually lasted me about 3-4 years until the sole wore out. I was ready for something new. I ordered the Dansko Wyatt Oxfords size 43. When I first put them on, they seemed a little big, but figured I would still give them a try. I've heard with their clog style shoe that the increased space is part of their design. Initially the shoes are on the stiff side, but after about a week of wearing, they have started to loosen up. Whenever I get a new pair of dress/work shoes, the first thing I usually do is change out the insole for one that is more supportive. I've yet to change out the insole in my Dansko shoe. I have not had any pain or discomfort that I usually feel with shoes that have little to no arch support. The Dansko shoe does have some support built into it that is more natural, so currently no additional support is needed! I've walked a variety of surfaces including concrete, tile (wet and dry), snow, ice, etc. So far, traction has been wonderful. I've only had the shoes for a short time, but so far they have been wonderful. It does take some time to adjust to the new style of shoe (bigger, roomier, etc). Unless I'm running down the hall, I haven't noticed any slipping and sliding within the shoe. With the prolonged standing, I have not experienced the leg and back fatigue that I usually experience with poorly constructed shoes. I'm looking forward to many great years with these shoes. It's worth the extra few bucks for quality. I'll post any updates as needed. ... show more

  • Solid shoes, laces are terrible
This is my 3rd pair of Dankos, my first pair of Wyatt's. I had two pairs of walkers, decided to change things up. These are very comfortable just like the Walker but like the reviews warned - the laces are terrible. Had one snap a few days ago (within return period) but listened to the reviews and ordered laces. If I hadn't is be back in my old pair and sending these back furious. Seriously though Dansko throw some better laces in with these. At this price point it's unacceptable. ... show more

  • Good looking, heavy-duty shoe!
I was looking for a robust yet good looking shoe to wear on my job as a limo & bus driver. I have rather wide feet, but the wide toe box on these shoes is perfect! The sole construction is heavy and thick so walking on wet surfaces, and even shallow puddles, is no problem. They are dressy enough for any occasion and take a nice shine. They are exceptionally well made and I'm sure they will last a long, long time. Delivery was fast, too. They are not cheap, but I found them to be well worth the investment. Love 'em! ... show more

  • No more pain for a big guy on his feet all day
I am in PA school on clinical rotations. I have been in the hospital and on my feet for 10-12 hours a day. I used to wear running shoes to the hospital every day thinking I would get great support and they were soft. Well at the end of the day I would have aching heels, calves, and back. I weigh 320lbs so I always attributed it to my weight. All the nurses wear Danskos and kept swearing by them. I was always turned off by the price and the clog look. But because I was hurting so much I decided to look to see if they had any other styles. I took the plunge and bought a pair. I have been wearing them for two weeks and I cannot believe the difference! I know this sounds hokey but I really no longer have pain at all. The medical student who is with me weighs about 120lbs and I can stand on my feet all day next to her without fatigue. She even has to sit down and rest frequently but I don't feel the need to. I have no idea what they have done with these shoes but I can tell you they absolutely work. It only took about two days for me to get used to them because they feel much different than regular shoes. But once I did it really made a difference. I am really grateful I spent the money and bought these shoes. And so are my kids because I can actually go home and play with them after being on my feet all day. I used to have to just plop down on the couch and put my feet up for an hour and take ibuprofen. ... show more

  • Heavy and uncomfortable!
I usually wear Rockport and decided to give Dansko a try. It fit well, was wide enough, seemed well build. After 10 min of wearing it I realised the shoes are extremely heavy and the sole is very hard. Lucky I was on my short shift ( 5 hours ) of walking on wood floor, I can't imagine a double or a marble floor. My feet were hurting more after 5 hours in $140 Dansko than after 15 hours in a $70 Skechers. ... show more
