Dansko Fawna Mary Jane, as advertised on Amazon, is a cute, comfortable, versatile shoe with arch support. The toe box may not be as wide as I expected, but the shoe is comfortable right out of the box with a medium weight sock. I really like the realistic buckle that is actually a Velcro strap closure… makes it look classy. I chose the pewter metallic leather. Also, I like the way the heel is made which makes the shoe more versatile in my opinion. Choosing shoes, especially online, is challenging. This time I chose well! It will be interesting to wear them and to determine if they are still comfortable after hours of wear and lots of steps. Wow! We are going to London and I need a comfortable walking shoe. After trying and returning 17 different shoes (no lie) from across the US I landed on these. Finally! I have a wide foot and the M width works for me. I first tried a 40-wide but surprisingly that was too wide so I switched back to the M width and sized up one size. VERY comfortable right out of the box! What I love: Soft seamless interior leather lining feels great. The heal strike has nice feel and excellent cushion & shock absorption. There is a 3/4 shank in this shoe which gives it more stability for walking on cobblestone roads. They are cute on the foot and very attractive. The toe box is roomy and taller so your toes are not crushed. If you want to feel sure footed and need a comfy shoe to be a tourist this may work for you. Apparently this is the go to shoe for flight attendants and I can see why. I am a 9-9.5 and size 41 felt better for me. I could have gotten away with a 40 but because my foot is so wide to be safe I sized up. The quality of the shoe is truly excellent. HIGHLY recommend this shoe for anyone that has to do a lot of walking or for people who have a job that requires them to be on their feet the most of the day. These are nicely designed with quality materials. The heels fit well and comfy to walk in. Toe box is just right with enough room to wiggle. We ordered this pair and Dansko Women's Fynn Mary Janes to compare. All I can say is you get what you pay for. Both shoes look equally cute, but Fynn did not even fit on the heels. When you walk in Fynn, the heels move like flip-flops. Padding and materials in Fynn were also not as comfy. If you are looking for a pair of shoes you can comfortably walk in or stand in all day, Fawna is definitely the way to go. One star was taken out for the customer service. We had to contact them for some issue, instead of explaining, the response was just a little bit too defensive as if we didn't buy enough. Not a great way to deal with customers. ... show more

This is my 3rd pair and I keep coming back for a reason. They’re cute, durable, and require no break-in time—super comfortable right out of the box. I wear them for work, and they feel safe and supportive all day. Each pair lasts me about two years, which makes them totally worth it.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are my second pair. They look great on. I wear them to work. My first pair lasted me years. The velcro was getting a bit unreliable, so I bought a new pair when I found them available. Although, I do love the velcro closure because I'm not struggling at 6 am to fasten shoes with buckles on the outside of my leg. And you can't tell it's velcro once they're on. You can tell they are real leather. My first pair still looks decent which is so hard to get nowadays. Other shoes mark up so easily. The comfort of Dansko is extraordinary, especially when on you're feet all day. Very stable shoes. I'll use my new pair at work and my old ones when I'm out and about. I just received this pair of shoes. Can't say enough how much I love these. Super comfortable, no need to break in. They fit me perfectly. I especially appreciate the velcro at the buckle so that I don't have to find holes and fasten the buckle when I'm in a hurry. Worth every penny!!

I bought this same style at shoe store 2 years ago. The shoe was extremely comfortable from the moment I slipped it on and forever after! It was a dream. My foot is small (5.5) and somewhat wide with a narrow heel. This makes it very challenging to buy shoes. While other Dansko shoes are a bit too big for me (36/5.5-6), the top strap helped secure the shoe fine. I didn't love that it was Velcro, and the Velcro did annoyingly wear out. Despite the Velcro, I repurchased the shoes recently. I was excited to have a fresh pair...only to be shocked at the changes. The leather was stiff instead of supple as it was from the first wearing of my last pair. The sole was also thicker. The shoe is also not only LONGER but has a narrower toe box, exactly the opposite of what I need. I compared my old/new shoes to see if I was imagining it but was not. Even if they had fit, they were not nearly as comfortable as my original pair. For the price, Dansko can do better. ... show more
