I really want to love these boots, as I love Dansko shoes and boots. They SQUEAK when I walk. I have had them 6+ months. I have started wearing them once per week in hopes of the squeak stopping - it has not worked. I am sad to give up on these boots as they cost $200, and I hate to waste that much money. I have other Dansko booties and they are of good quality, have held up well over the years, and the footbed is very comfortable. However I could not wear the Daisie model because the shaft is taller and they were too narrow around my ankles. Also the stiff hard leather rubs against the front of my shin when I walk and would potentially irritate the skin on my shin. If the leather had been softer and more supple like some other leather boots, I could have kept them. So comfortable, just wish the heel was higher and it wasn't a type that would chip off over time. I know it will because I have two other pairs that I wish they still sold and that is the only reason I need new ones 5 years later. Other than the heel, they hold up great! Wish the heel was higher too. So miss the Dansko Women's Hayley Leather Boot! Bring it back!!!! ... show more
