I was dumb and shattered my old spillway and needed to completely replace it. I wanted one big enough for a mini bog filter concept and this one seemed about as big as I could get on Amazon while still being moderately priced at $78 (bought "used- very good"). The input is massive, and I had to taper it down to 1" for my plumbing, so I took the connections to the hardware store and found converters to make it work. After that it was all pretty easy, plug in the water pump and go. It feels durable, thick plastic, and looks fine. It is exposed for my setup but I may try to bury it with rocks in the future. I shoved a piece of plastic in front of the spillway to try to hold my plants back, it works for now. The bundle included the connections, though I had to size it down for my setup, and a mesh bag of high surface-area plastic as filter media. I swapped it out for lava rock, but used some of the media in an aquarium filter that had some extra space. Can't complain, it does the job! ... show more

After having lost my koi fish at end of March it was time to add some upgrades and first one was a waterfall karma gave me a win on price the plain empty waterbox was a higher price than the one with bio media my win someone wasn't paying attention. That being said great looking waterfall I placed it on top of 2 cmu blocks still need to run plumbing and move stone around I'll update pics when done ... show more

A large, possibly well-built waterfall box. However, the delivery excluded key rubber gaskets and the proper barbed connector. Noticed that another reviewer picked up these items from a hardware store, but in my opinion, the manufacturer should include EVERYTHING needed for installation. I returned it, even though the seller offered a measly $22 to keep the item. ... show more

Threads were very hard to fit and not leak. Not the best quality. Spend the money and go better. Works enough to not tear back down.
