After several years of not having worn western boots (about 7) I decided it was time to return to them. (Bored of converse, quite frankly lol) Dan Post has a reputation for comfort, and so it was an easy decision, also buttressed by the many great reviews. Have ya'll seen that beautiful black cherry Milwaukee boot? We are going to take a good look at it here! I know that a lot of people are concerned about the representation of the color of the various boots in contrast from your phone or computer screen vs how they look in person. So I've included some pictures of them in various lighting conditions and how they contrast with a couple diff pair of jeans, and I've taken a few pics w/ camera flash. The pictures w/ the black pants on the tiled floor is under bathroom lighting at night. The picture with blue jeans on wooden floor is in a room lit only by outside light coming in through windows in the morning. The picture out by the angel statue is my front porch (roof over head, shaded from direct sunlight) also in the morning. And the picture of the boots alone on the asphalt is to show you a good shot of them exposed to direct sunlight. The shots over carpet and of the inside of the boot are captured with the use of camera flash. Hope you all enjoy these pics. And to think these boots essentially sold themselves to me because of the plain thumbnails in the advertisement. They are even more gorgeous in person! Well I sincerely hope these pictures give you a good visual representation more than my words ever could. But I will say these boots have a lot of personality to them, gorgeous under any circumstance! Don't you agree? Also, they are absolute comfort right outta the box. What else is there to say? Dan Post Company makes one hell of a boot! I give these boots 5 stars for both comfort fit & feel, and aesthetics. All that's needed now is the test of time, see how they hold up. Wearing them daily! Great boot in every way. Looks, comfort, performance. Price was very competitive price. I live in these boots. Due to the heel height, a problem I have due to an injury does not affect me as it would in a low heel shoe. I play baseball in these boots. Yeah, they are great!

A beautiful boot, I love the looks. hard to get on and off. Compared to my Ariat not as comfortable. I hope there is a break-in period. I suspect they won't ever be as comfortable as my Ariat.

I have wanted cowboy boots for more than 40 years and I finally decided to get some. My biggest concern was not being able to try them on before ordering a pair, but Amazon makes it easy to return them if they don't fit. Well, these fit great and I will not be returning them! I'm absolutely stunned, because I thought they'd be painful or stiff or some other issue, but right out of the box I love these! The color appears consistent, but I do see minor flaws in the manufacturing process (A crack is beginning to appear on the sole at the bend.) My feet, which I think are slightly on the narrow side, are very comfortable and it feels like a glove. I consider this an entry-level boot because of the price and quality. They probably won’t last forever, but I work in the city and live in the suburbs, so they are perfect for my lifestyle. UPDATE 28 November 2022: I loved the black cherry ones so much I bought the black ones. Everything is the same as above. I feel really fortunate to have gotten these and the price is great!

I bought my husband the black cherry boots for Christmas, then decided to order the brown ones instead. It was too late to cancel order for the black cherry boots. When he opened his present, he absolutely loved the brown boots. After Christmas I was preparing to return the black cherry boots when he saw them and insisted on keeping both pair! So I would have to say these boots were a big hit! Excellent quality and reasonably priced.

Take a good look at these boots if you are in the market. They fit well and are really a great looking addition to your casual wardrobe. I would not hesitate to wear them any place but for my money , they look best with jeans. So far so good. This is not my first pair of western boots , and I can be a tough fit, but these Dan Posts fit great right out of the box.

Boots said all leather Upper's lower and sole, Well there's a rubber quarter inch pad on the heel . Now delivery is another matter 50% of my Decision was based on delivery , That came 2 days late for my occasion ,Delivery Dates and times are usually on time but this instance it didn't and I had an occasion that I needed to have Them
