I brought these boots for my boyfriend birthday..to replace his old boots that he had worn out. I know absolutely nothing about buying cowboy boots, but I knew that I wanted to get him boots that were similiar to the ones he had, so I did some researching on Amazon and found these DAN POST. I read most of the reviews and found out that they were well made leather and looked very nice at a reasonable price and they had many styles to chose from. So i decided to purchase these boots from them. When I opened the box and saw the boots and felt the leather. I was really impressed. So on his birthday he was really surprised and he wore them right away and he said that the leather was great and they didn't fit tight or hurt his feet so at all (so they are true to size) , and they looked really nice with his jeans. My fiancé always wears Dan Post Boots. He grew up on a ranch in North Dakota. I bought him a pair of Dan Post Boots one year ago, and he wore them almost everyday. Dan Post provides a good fit to his feet that have high arches. He wears an 11D in these boots. So, I bought him an pair of these boots in size 11D. They arrived, they didn't fit. I'm not sure if his feet changed, but we are returning them for an 11 1/2D. Beautiful boots, made well. Recommend Dan Post boots. ... show more

First…I LOVE the smell of new leather! As soon as you open the plastic bag they are shipped in the aroma of leather fills the air! Bought these for my boyfriend who has feet issues. He wore them all day, walked around a few stores and his feet felt fine! No toe pain.

    • Boots Did Not Fit
I like the style, but was disappointed because the boots did not fit. I normally wear a D in shoes. Maybe I need a EEE in boots. The last pair of boot I bought were custom-made.

    • Incredibly small. How can anyone say these run true to size?
Ordered a half-size larger that normal because boots sometime run small, but, these are absurd. Can't even get my smallest foot in with the thinnest socks I own. Boots look nice, but, for some reason, I thought they were American made. For this much money, they should be. Very disappointed.

Sharp looking boots but the regular width was so narrow I couldn't even get my foot in. Had to return them but that process was smooth and quick
