It’s a leash. Good construction. Some people prefer comp leashes on shortboards. I’m not good enough for it to make a difference. Certain colors are a lot cheaper than others. I bought whatever was cheapest.

    • Ankle cuff came off in head high surf
Pretty standard leash but was surprised when the ankle cuff came off my leg in barely head high surf. I've broken a leash, pulled a leash plug out of a board but never just had the velcro let go like this one.
