I have 2 other sizes as well, good bag, built well, good YKK zippers. It also has a zippered fin slot which is handy. Good deal much cheaper than the web,,, I don't know that I would use it for travel though, 1/4" is decent, but airlines can be brutal.

Bought a 9'6" bag to replace one that was falling apart. It's for a 9'3" epoxy In the Pink longboard. First off, it's not as nice as an older Dakine board bag I have - this one seems more "plasticky" and not as well-padded. At least the zipper action feels just as good . Decided to add a star to the rating after first real world use because while it is a bit on the slim side, the board can actually be removed/replaced in the bag without too much fuss. Just not as much leeway compared to the roomier bag it replaced. Chalk it up to stupidity or user error. Would still hesitate on recommending this bag if your board is on the wider & thicker side of the spectrum (especially a wider/fuller nose). However, a contemporary (high) performance or lower volume longboard should not pose a problem. ... show more

This is the first board bag I've owned and it is worth every penny! My board was getting a little dinged up from being stored without a bag - this Dakine bag saved my board! It is cute and super durable. The wax pouch also prevents the wax from melting and is very convenient. Highly recommend!

Great bag. I have a 9'1 longboard and it fits perfectly in the 9'2 with a decent amount of wiggle room. Super easy to take out and put in. The pocket on the outside is a bit small to fit my leash in, so I usually throw it in with the board. Sometimes the bag sags low enough on my room rack to hit my roof and flaps in the wind. This causes it to slap my roof while I drive which can be annoying sometimes, but I think this has to do with my putting my leash in the bag which makes it sag more. ... show more
