  • Best stomp pad I have ever had
Color: Black Size: One Size
As long as you put some time in prepping this product the right way it is the best stomp pad you can get! It took me some time to figure out the way I wanted the diamonds placed on my board, but once I did I was extremely happy with it. Follow the directions it comes with! I ended up buying 2 sets of these due to the type of look I wanted. I followed the directions exactly as they stated. I used a ruler and pencil and stenciled out the design layout I wanted and then placed each piece on my board. It came out amazing! They are perfect. They sit up nice and high to allow maximum grip on your board without allowing snow to interfere. Even sticky snow doesn’t stand a chance. This is without a doubt the best stomp pad I have ever had, and it’s the best looking. As long as you follow the directions, heat your board and the diamonds with a blow dryer, clean your board with rubbing alcohol, and allow 24 hours for diamonds to cure with weight added, it will last! I cleaned the board with rubbing alcohol. I drew out a grid where I wanted the diamonds placed on my board. I used a hair dryer to heat the board and diamonds. I then placed each diamond in place after heating them one by one. I then put a piece of wood on top of them that covered them all. On top of that wood I placed weights that totaled 95lbs. I let it sit for 24 hours before I removed it. These things are stuck on for good! They actually feel like they’re part of the board. Highly recommended! I added a picture which shows the grid I drew. Just remember...if you want the most out of this stomp pad you must put the time and effort into prepping it the right way. ... show more

  • Very good.
Color: Chrome Size: One Size
These work a lot better than I thought. They help so much getting off the lift. I love how they’re not very obnoxious and actually add to the look of my board.

  • 10 days riding and they're all still there.
Color: Chrome Size: One Size
Look good, easy to apply, and sticking so far. No complaints.

  • Exactly what I needed to stop embarrassing myself on the ski lift
Color: Black Size: One Size
I made the mistake of pasting them slightly too far from my back binding so I still embarrass myself sometimes on ski lifts but I plan on buying another pack to enlarge the stomp pad area. I can only guess that the people putting them on did not follow the directions, as I have gone snowboarding 4-5 times this season using the stomp pad and have had absolutely ZERO problems with them falling off. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. You cant just stick them on and expect them to stay when you stomp on them with heavy boots in freezing, wet conditions. The directions say something like this: 1. Clean and dry the area of the board the stomp pad will be applied too (they will NOT stick nearly as well if there is dirt or dust between the adhesion surface and the board) 2. Use a blow dryer and heat the area of the board AND the stomp pad (this is to activate the sticky area to allow for a stronger adhesion) 3. Apply the stomp pad to the warm, dry, and clean area. (Make SURE you have mapped out the studs to where you want. I’m a little anal and wish I had done this since i have a less than perfect diamond) 4. Press down the stomp pad for maybe 30 seconds (the pressure helps to secure the sticky area to the board) 5. Let cool at room temperature. I would recommend doing it the day before going snowboarding to allow ample time for adhesion. ... show more

  • Customizable, but can be placed unevenly
Color: Chrome Size: One Size
A previous stomp pad fell off my snowboard despite me following all of its instructions on setting/heating, etc. That stomp pad was a silicone one with a honeycomb shape. This time around, I aimed for a more peg-like design but the material it would be made of was still in the air. I came across these Dakine Pyramid Studs and other similar metal studs across other brands. Despite all the other shapes (stars, circles, whathaveyou), these studs seemed to be the tallest and therefore could be gripped beyond the snow. Upon testing for several weeks now, these studs have sure proven themselves and have eased my ski lift troubles. The metal seems to have a better grip than the silicone pad I had, and the studs lay above most snow cover. The only problem is that they are not connected in the neat 3x3 pattern in the picture, and all have to be laid on individually. Because of this, my studs don't all line up and I actually only put on 8 of the studs and left the middle right stud off so I could position it closer to my back foot. The metal color/material also goes nicely with any board design, and it looked nice on my mainly black decked board. They may also be a tad smaller than as they appear, but its all based on how you want to position the studs. Great purchase all around. I would definitely use a method of head to keep these on when setting, and apply pressure for a few hours with a heavy object. PROS: Good grip Subtle, not too flashy Goes with any deck design Customizable upon spacing CONS: Can be applied unevenly Smaller than expected I'm a medium-skilled snowboarder on a Burton Genie. I've been snowboarding for about 3 years, and all within the slopes of Vermont. The snow in the Northeast is more ice than pow, but it can turn into mashed potatoes in the springtime. These studs can survive a bulk of any type of snow. ... show more

  • Tricky to install but work great.
Color: Black Size: One Size
It did not occur to me how tricky they would be to install if you are OCD like myself. I had to use rulers and weights to try to get them lined up just right. That's just me. I have them placed across the middle of my board and one more for visual effect elsewhere. They work great. I have had NO ISSUES with my boot slipping no matter where I place it. And they look pretty cool. Rather than a big chunk of Plastic/rubber in one spot. ... show more

  • Stylish mini pyramids
Color: Black Size: One Size
Quick and easy application, adds a nice touch to my board. Love the simple look to these, and that you can apply them however you want. The review pictures sold me when I saw how others applied theirs. So here's mine :)
