First of all it did not look like the picture. The fabric is not white.. it is like an eggshell color and it is see through so you can see the feathers inside (some black in color). Smell is awful even when I waited a month for it to go away. It didnt. The whole room stunk. It has been about 2 months now and the smell has subsided after I washed it. The fabric us NOT SOFT. I definitely cannot put it on the bed without a duvet cover. It would not look nice like in the picture. It is also not light and fluffy as advertised. It is VERY HEAVY and IT GETS TOO HOT. We can’t really use it to cover ourselves because it just gets uncomfortable. I honestly wish I could return this but i cant since it is not “brand new” anymore as it says on the website it has to be in order to return it. I think that is ridiculous since we had to try it out at first. I would look elsewhere and consider getting oe with all down and not this mostly feather one. VERY CRUNCHY. ... show more

Very nice comforter and quality feel. You can’t beat this price for the quality. It does get a tad hot but its warm outside now so that’s to be expected. Overall I love this duvet insert, it poofed up really nicely after putting it in the dryer like instructions said. Could be used as a comforter because it’s so soft and comfy as is. Although I got a cotton cover for it and it’s going to be exactly what I wanted ... show more

The comforter is really warm, sometimes gets a little to hot and I kick it off. I would only use this in the cold months. Not to found of how much rustling noise it makes, it sounds like its filled with paper, every time you move you hear it and gets to be really annoying. Smells awful. Used 64 loads worth of laundry detergent and washed 3 times (industrial size washing machine). Also, extremely uncomfortable.
