The comforter was received flattened in a pouch but puffed up beautifully once opened and after 10 minutes in the dryer and on the bed for a couple of days. It's soft and lightweight, perfect for our Airbnb in Savannah, GA. Another plus -- the quilting is stitched with real thread and in diamonds, so the filling won't shift when we wash it. Our IKEA comforter is all lumpy from its first wash because the stitching is just in long horizontal stripes. Thankfully, they gave us a refund! It's overall good but not worth the time waiting and it's kind of expensive. I was expecting a comforter that has a cotton outer shell and I see some pics in the comment showing 100% cotton fabric material but end up with a polyester/microfiber one.
