I have been enjoying the Crush and A&W Singles To Go lately. Surprisingly tasty! (Except cream soda. Don't buy the cream soda.). Thought I'd try the Dads root beer because their bottled root juice has always been a winner. Wrong. Unfortunately, the flavor is mostly chemical with a hint of root beer and a finish redolent of baby barf. Flavor is exactly what Dad's tasted like 50 yrs ago. But the seller sent only ONE box instead of TWELVE as it states on the amazon posted purchase site and ON THE BOX IN THE PICTURE! Amazon needs to get hold of the seller and either correct the pricing or the product size. NOT BUYING THIS AGAIN.

Oh heck yeah these Dad's Root Beer flavor sticks are GREAT, they really do taste like a noncarbonated root beer! This is a tasty way for me to get my water intake as I can only handle so much ugh plain water and these do not contain sugar or a carbohydrate kick. Sometimes I get a very slight after taste but it's rare and the Root Beer flavor is spot on. I am going to try using them with unflavored carbonated water too soon and I'm betting these would be epic if you have a Soda Stream machine. Very happy I found these. ... show more

As good as the root beer packets are I thought these would be. WRONG! These are just nasty. Somehow they think that adding vanilla (strong at that) to water makes Creme Soda. This is just strong vanilla water. Very disappointed!

This listing is for two different products. I've tried them both with considerably different results. The Dad's Cream Soda is absolutely one of the worst drink mixes I've ever had. The stuff just will not dissolve, and you get a bunch of floaties at the bottom that are absolutely horrid to get a taste of. The Dad's Root Beer is actually one of the best drink mixes I've ever had. It dissolves easily, and it has a nice and strong flavor that doesn't taste too much like dirt. I would say that of all of the drink mixes on the market, the Dad's Root Beer is top three. ... show more

Jel Sert used to have flavor mixes of A&W Root Beer, which I really enjoyed when I was able to find them at Wal-mart. Unfortunately, it appears the company no longer has a deal with A&W or has otherwise decided to no longer produce that flavor, instead switching to the Dad's brand of root beer. And I have to honestly say, it's not at all the same. It's not a terrible flavor, but I'm not sure if I'll be seeking it out again once I get through all of these boxes. If you're trying to cut back on sodas and want something that tastes a little similar, these are fine, but I'm wishing Jel Sert would've stuck with A&W. ... show more

I took a chance ordering these because I hadn't tried the Cream Soda varient...but my family loves the Root Beer version so I thought there was a good chance that these would be a hit as well...but alas, none of us could get past the first sip.
