First off, I will update this when I've had more time with it, and it's been professionally stringed. Appearance: it looked very nice to start with. Then I flipped it over. They stopped applying the varnish for some reason, right where the left hand goes. Other than that, the violin looks OK. The bow appears to be nice, and works well, once rosin is thoroughly applied. The case is really nice, very large, with good storage space. The shoulder test it comes with is nice too. Function: the sound quality is very nice. BUT I'll need to have a professional take a look at the pegs. The pegs are very loose in the peg holes, and do not hold when attempting to tune the instrument. Unfortunately, right off the bat, this makes the instrument unusable until I can get it looked at. I'll update once it's fixed up... ... show more

Nice craftmanship. A good beginner/intermediate violin. A much cheaper one simply cant match the sound quality.
