If I could rate this 10 stars, I probably would... of course, time will be the true test! I had some really ugly black cable cords just sitting along the floor. Ugly to say the least. So, I thought I would try these. I just installed this along my base board (looks like quarter round) and it PERFECTLY holds and hides the cords. I have two cable lines and a very small, flat land line cord in it... plenty of room for another cable if necessary. There are no instructions.. but it's pretty easy. There is a clear film on the outside/front - the back is a the self stick. I was placing it on a painted, non textured wall - so it's very flat and the perfect material for this use. A couple of things I learned as I was placing it... it worked best for me to cord up the holder before sticking to the wall - IMPORTANT - the sticky back is SOLID - NO repositioning at all. You want to make sure you have shoved up against the last one you placed as tightly as possible - you will still see the seam between each length - but less so if you carefully, firmly place each piece. Before removing the sticky back I "placed" it in position to see if I liked it and it would work. Good thing, because once you remove the sticky back, it is NOT coming off without the sheet rock in torn pieces... just fyi. I chose to position the opening part of the D tube facing up to make it easier to put another cord in or take one out... personal choice. The ad says it is paintable and that is what I will try next. Having said that, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful - and I am eager to see if this will stand the test of time and use.. meaning.. cords pulled, etc. I see no reason why you couldn't use this going up a wall (thinking of TV that has been hung on wall, etc - personal taste - but remember, the sticky tape is solid and won't be removed without tearing/damaging paint. As for textured surfaces - like wall texture, I am thinking that as positive as this sticky tape is, as long as it's not too textured, it should work - but to be honest, I have not tried it on a textured surface. As with most things that use a form of sticky tape, the smoother the surface, the better it will stick.) I hope this info was helpful to you!

Well made. Cover snaps into place easily and firm. A little expensive but worth the money. Recommendations: I have worked with this product in the past and can confirm the adhesive is very strong. It will pull the paint of the wall and or even the paper covering on the wall board if you try to remove it. So if you plan on leaving it there permanently no problem. Otherwise I always remove three small sections of the paper that covers the adhesive, I replace that small section with a piece of paper. then I put nano tape on the paper and then put it on the wall. If you ever decide to remove it, you can then remove the raceway without damaging your wall. A little more work but a lot better than wall repair and painting. I bought the medium size and ran coax and lamp cord thru it. Plenty of room. Could have done just as well with the smaller size.

It works as described, goes on easy and is easy to add and remove cables from the channel. It looks great and wayyy better than 2 to 3 hanging cables. I only gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because I have a strong feeling the adhesive used is going to rip the paint off my wall, that being said it definitely won't fall off anytime soon which works for me.

This cable cover is a very simple but effective product. It definitely DOES open, and snaps shut as well. I used a small handsaw to cut the cable cover down to the appropriate length, sanded it, and then painted it to match my walls. I popped it open, and wove my cords through (it fit 3 cables quite snugly), snapped close and triple checked the placement before taking off the adhesive liner. For bonus points, I used a level before sticking it to the wall. Final product looks great and very professional. Will worry about removal in a few years when I have to leave....

The hinge on this cord cover (and the color options) is what sold me on this product. I have my four 7.1 surround sound back/side speaker cables running along the floor along the wall for years from one end of my living room to the other. Furniture hides the cables for the most part except along the combination metal sliding glass doors and floor to ceiling metal window casing. Unhooking the cables from my receiver and 4 surround sound speakers, threading them through a cord cover that doesn't hinge open, then hooking everything back up, would have been a major hassle. Instead this product took minutes to install thanks to the hinge, and the grey perfectly matches the metal casing. I easily cut the length down to fit with an electric saw.

slightly smaller than expected.. i was able to fit a coax, a S.W. cable, and a cable the contained two pair of 16 awg jacketed cables contained within a single outer jacket. i found the width to be 1 1/4". the ad claims the width is 1 3/16"...but the arch has enough angle that u will not be able to use the entire interior space losing about 1/8" and the snap to close design is not stiff enough to prevent separation if u try to stuff it with excess cable.my cables barely fit. if i were trying to fit,say 3 coax cables... i would not be able to. so maybe 2 coax size cables and a smaller diameter cable like a CAT 7 network cable, or perhaps a S.W. cable. it is 39" in length,as stated in ad. i would recommend this product with a note of caution about the size limit. but i would probably not purchase this again.

I was looking for a product to conceal large gauge speaker wire that I had to run from the back of the receiver up a wall into the ceiling for my surround sound system. While in was initially surprised at the cost of this product as I needed 4 sections to complete the job, it turned out to be a great bargain all considered. From the time I took it out of the box to completing the job was approximately 5 minutes! The product is sturdy, easy to cut with a hack saw if needed and installation was a breeze. The end result is neat, straight and the bond to wood and brick is very solid. Seldom am I surprised with how well a product works, but I was with this product and will no doubt buy it again for any future needs of this kind.
