I was honestly impressed with these septum piercings. The quality is great and they feel sturdy—not cheap or flimsy at all. The finish looks nice, and they’re comfortable to wear for long periods. For the price, you really can’t beat it. Definitely a great value and I’d buy again!

I bought these as leave-in earrings on a typical lobe piercing. During quarantine and WFH, my ears started to close up because I'd forget earrings for days at a time. They've always been quick to close, so when I started considering going off grid and building a house in the woods, I knew I'd need something super simple, comfortable, and allergy friendly to leave in if I wanted to avoid re-piercing. I didn't want anything as ostentatious as a bright silver hoop, so when I found matte black horseshoes, I was in love! I got the 18G, for a regular piercing I wouldn't go any bigger than that. A 20G is normal, but since my ears want to close so fast I decided to stretch it a little to buy myself some time. I would recommend 20G if you want to keep it at a "normal" piercing size. I got the larger 10MM size, per reviews saying the 8MM barely cleared the lobe. I can attest, the 10MM is still SUPER small - it only hits the bottom of my earlobe. Though it's perfect for leave-in and sleeping in (they're so comfy I have to reach up and check if they're still there!), I'm already looking into leave-ins around 12MM... I like my earrings BIG! I've found myself to be super allergic to nickel and very sensitive to multiple metals. These have been in for a solid 3 weeks now with no allergic reaction/discoloration on my skin or the metal. They've stayed in day and night, through sweat and showers, and even with me fidgeting with them the balls have not come off. I have yet to try the spikes, but since I got these as a comfortable leave in, that was really more of a fun extra. All in all, great product, great packaging, 10/10 for these. I'll definitely be re-purchasing should anything happen to them. ... show more

The spikes and balls screw on good and stay secure and looks amazing they also fit super snug and aren’t heavy they look very shiney and there’s no skin irritation 10/10 buy!

Unfortunately the package only came with 3 black spike ends, which I really wanted, so I returned them and got a another one. Other than that so far so good. The balls/spikes seem to stay on pretty well. I am in the habit of checking them regularly due to my last pair of earrings so I can't imagine them coming loose or me losing them. They are the perfect size for me, definitely worth it. Edit: Ive had the worst luck with these earrings. 1st set I ordered was missing one of the spikes for the black pair. 2nd set I Ordered, one of the silver spikes wasn't threaded so it won't tighten up. I mean I get theyre cheap but I did expect at least the spikes to screw on. Oh well off to order yet another set.. ... show more

I usually get these types of earrings from Hot Topic, never again. Quick comparison: These earrings: Excellent threading so screwing the balls/spikes on is a breeze. The tips are smooth so they go in easily. The metal is great quality with a decent weight but not overbearing. I'm not an expert on metal by any means but I am a welder so I'm kind of picky when it comes to metal and these feel nice. Hot Topic's junk: Cross threads easily and the metal is cheap so they are trash after a few times changing them out. The tips are spikey and rip up skin and cartilage putting them in. It used to take me at least ten minutes to put in four earrings and there was usually a little blood involved. These took seconds and even with my ears still healing from the old rings, there was no new damage. I will be buying from this brand to replace all the color choices I had from Hot Topic, which are now in the garbage. ... show more
