Many of us order absorbent pot pads so that the pot won't scratch up the surface it is on. Yes, the absorbent felt does help if plant is watered excessively. But the base of this pad is hard plastic bumps that would definitely scratch a surface if slid around at all. I'll keep them, but probably will never use them. ... show more
