Likes: Compact size, Zoom and Parallax rings feel smooth, Lockable and reset-able windage and elevation knobs, Illuminated circle-dot portion of reticle, Included (2) batteries, Flip-up lens covers, Clear glass and crisp reticle. Dislikes: Slight distortion in the field of view, Very unforgiving occular distance and eye-box position. If your eye is not perfectly positioned on the centerline of the scope and at the perfect occular focal length on higher magnification, you will not be able to see anything downrange. I like that fact that the very existence of this thing is a recognition that SOMEONE agrees that the promise of LPVO's being good at 1x AND 10x is essentially BS. I always end up adding a secondary that is the 1x primary. And torturing LPVO optical science trying to stretch down to 1x compromises them at 8 or 10X. So how about ditching the 1x no one actually uses and let it be actually usable at the higher magnifications? How is this optic at the higher magnifications? The eyebox at 10x is not great, but usable & in the same range as some pretty pricey LPVOs I have.... for $100. THE PAYOFF: This optic has Parallax Adjustment. VERY few LPVOs have this, even at the very high end. And it is transformative. I leave it at 30-50yds as that is usable at any range, but at distance in the higher magnifications, tuning the parallax sharpens the image beyond anything I have seen through an LPVO, period. I am not going back. If I am going to run a dot anyway, then give me the parallax adjustment and keep the 1x. Good trade. This has become my go-to setup and has benched some name stuff to do it. ... show more

    • Poor picture.
The whole picture around the center of the reticle is blurry but when user inputs the zoom that’s when the blurry becomes unusable. Returned it the next day.

The JackalHowl Z03 2-10x32 MPVO AO Rifle Scope by CVLIFE, is a good quality and highly functional scope, that’s worthy of your consideration. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – I found the quality to be pretty nice in this price range. I didn’t feel like it contained any cheap parts and was happy to be using it. Although there are higher quality scopes on the market, most of them are significantly more expensive for what is a minimal difference to me, and I own a lot of scopes. II. Usability – The functionality of this scope was also very nice. It performed as I would’ve hoped and better than I expected. I never felt like I should be using one of my more expensive scopes or like I was missing abilities they would provide. Overall, this is a very nice scope at this price and would make a great companion to any rifle. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product.     • Love the glass. Why pay more?
Mounted this on my Ruger 10/22. I tested and dialed it in at 50 yards and then 100 yards. I am happy with this scope. The glass is high quality crystal clear and adjustments are easy to click and count. The adjustable objective (AO) worked well to keep the reticle in clear focus when switching from 50 to 100 yards. Now I want to put this on my Henry .22LR to really zoom in on accuracy. I like this scope a lot. There is no need to pay more for a rifle scope designed for small caliber rounds. ... show more

I own a lot of items from CVlife and all usually have no issues. This is the exception. First off the flip up covers are a nice addition but the front one won't stay on. Probably need to put some "blue tape" under it so hopefully it won't come off. The big issue I have is with the adjustments for windage and elevation. You are supposed to be able to pull and then adjust and push back in to lock. When I first got the scope it worked well, but after trying to sight it in on the rifle the dials got stuck. I had to remove the top screw remove the dial and play with it to get it to start adjusting again. Both I had to do this to adjust. Not good. I would have expected better with CVlife. Other than that they're nicely lit in either Green or Red and very clear. ... show more
