I wasn’t sure what to expect from this scope. It appears to be well built and the illuminated reticle is very nice. The optical quality is good, especially at this price point. It mounts as easily as any other picatinny rail mount. It functions well, but it’s not as smooth as expensive optics. I have some complaints, the flip up caps could be great but for me they’re a little clumsy and they seem to pop off easily. For me, I have to get relatively close to the eyepiece to get a full clear view. I would hesitate to mount this on a high recoil rifle, but maybe that’s just me. Clear crisp image in a scope that has everything I wanted: AO front lens for parallax correction, illuminated x-hairs for better hold in center of larger black bullseye, not to mention dusk or dawn. Great scope compares favorably with my other scopes costing 5 times as much!

It's an MOA reticle and turrets, if you scroll down it even says it's an MOA reticle, NOT mil dot. It's built well enough, the glass is clear and images are sharp. The eye relief is further back which I like. It's well-made and all that, the lens caps fit perfectly and close nicely. The finish is great, the turrets adjust well and positively. This variable power scope has red and green illumination, and really clear glass, considering the low price. The scope rings it comes with are really basic, but they will do the job. The scope has a nitrogen port, so it is purged.

This 3-9x40 AO illuminated rifle scope is a nice upgrade over the old scope I had on my gun before. The second focal plane design and the multi-coated lenses provide a clear, bright view without noticeable distortion. The mil dot reticle with red or green illumination is great, staying visible without overpowering the sight picture. The 1/4 MOA turrets click precisely and feel tactile, making adjustments quick and easy at the range. I know it’s not one of the premium brands, but held zero well so far, and the build feels durable for the price. Scope arrived fine… not sure what I expected for the money, but this needs some work before it’s appropriate for any serious use. Issues I’ve experienced — kind of heavy (which is fine for a distance scope, but be aware). Eyebox/relief is insufficiently restrictive for anything with recoil... you have to be kind of close. Lens covers are loose enough to fall off with only casual manipulation, with no positive retention, and thus unfit for anything but storage. Controls are fine, glass is OK, clarity is OK. Most damning — the picatinny mounting claws basically stuck together once torqued down, so I cannot actually remove this scope at this point... I don’t know what they’re binding on but the thing is basically permanently attached to the airsoft gun I was using to test it. I will try to pry them off, but the bolts are now LOOSE but the rings are still clamped down tight. Never seen that before. At the very minimum, do not use the provided mount. Get your own rings for it, and maybe consider sticking to rimfire chamberings with it. ... show more
