I added this scope to my 10/22 a while ago, but was never able to get it sighted in properly. Now, half a year later, I finally managed to get it sighted in; strangely the windage dial must be set to the leftward extreme for the scope to be left-right centered at all. The process was much easier with some decent paper targets. At this point I'm able to use the scope to make dinnerplate-accurate shots at my range's maximum range, which I would estimate (using Google Maps for distance) as somewhere between 150 yards and 200 yards. Strangely this scope looks quite identical to some of the Viridian EON 3-9x40 scopes which some models of the 10/22 ship with from the factory. Mine had one pock mark on it, which makes me think these CVLIFE scopes might simply be a way to sell blemished or slightly defective EON scopes; if not, then it is a remarkably decent clone. ... show more

    • Good scope for the money. I use it for short distance n it is out of focus.

The reason I am returning this is because for my backyard (relatively short distance), I could not get a clear focus at little over 5X. The box lid was torn and box was lightly crushed but scope seems to work. It was shipped in a plastic bag and not a box. Overall it was a good scope. I was able to dial in relatively fast. I like that you can adjust with your fingers. * This is mainly due to my backyard and distance to the target so for other it may be fine. * At lower magnification, target was in good focus but as soon an I raised it a bit, target started to be blurry. My airgun came with a 4x so I was getting little better. I do not think it is the fault of the scope. It is just my use. I will buy an AO version and I hope this will allow me to focus on the target better. ... show more

I was looking for a scope for my airsoft rifle. I didn't need a high magnification scope since the airsoft rifle's effective range isn't that high anyway. I found a few options on other sites and amazon.com. I decided to get this one, and I am not disappointed. Everything you need to mount the scope securely to the picatinny rail is included. Great sharpness at 3x-6x. I haven't had a chance to shoot at a farther away target yet, but I'm sure the 7x-9x magnification will be great then. Came with a cleaning cloth and cover. Bought this for my echo 1 Nemesis airsoft rifle. Fits nicely and is perfect for what I use it for. Yes it's not the most expensive with range markers but you don't need it for a small system.

Mounted scope rings to base then scope to rails. Took 8 shots to get zeroed. Was shooting target bottles at 100 yards after that.

Obviously this optic is not fantastic given the price point; the eye relief is not awesome and it's a littlr fuzzy zoomed in all the way however for the price it absolutely gets the job done.

Are you going to slap this on an M40A1 and take out some NVA officers from 1,700 meters? Of course not. Can you put it on a high powered .177 pellet gun and absolutely make some varmints and critters speak of you in hushed tones for fear of getting greased from the other side of the backyard? You bet your white feather, dorky Carlos Hathcock! Glass is a little fuzzy at max magnification, but the adjustments are satisfyingly clicky and the thing holds zero like a champ.
