I received this as a Christmas present. I'm not impressed with the price of an item. Just the functionality. I know my wife didn't spend hundreds of dollars on a name brand scope. But, that being said, this seems like a good product. It seems to be well made. I am impressed with the clarity. The green laser is visible during the day, so that helps with sighting in your firearm. The laser came with two batteries and a remote switch that you can mount on the forearm, along with an on/off switch cap. I guess I have never understood why anyone would spend 10X oe more on a scope. Any scope can be broken, or knocked out of alignment. I'd hazard a guess that if you using this for hunting, the deer wouldn't know if it was this scope or a $1300.00 Tritium that put it on your plate. ... show more

very cool features and nice glass, but i wouldnt let my life depend on this... i feel like it would break if i dropped it. probably a really nice optic for airsoft, but not real pew-pew.... sticking with monstrum in this price range!

    • Not perfect, but extremely solid and durable.
The media could not be loaded. I wish it was a little better in some small ways, but overall, it's really build well. In the video I describe how we can see the reflection on the interior of the barrel inside, and that's my main complaint. The whole thing goes on your rail very easily. The laser is super stable. Otherwise, I like the switch, it's very distinct. I like the switch off method instead of a required "fall asleep" mode which does a battery good. ... show more

For the price, this scope is hard to beat. It has enough eye relief to be comfortable and the diopter adjustment range is broad enough for me not to need reading glasses. I like the bright and adjustable illuminated reticle, plus the fact that it is also quite visible even when not illuminated. It also has good magnification and focus. The mounting rails it comes with, while not fancy, are effective and I would think should be enough to hold it steady on most rifles (223-308 range). Having the additional laser on it is really just icing on the cake. Windage and elevation adjustments are both easy to get to and hand adjustable. The batteries for both the laser and the reticle are easy to get to and relatively easy to change (though you will need to be careful that the CR2032 cell for the reticle doesn't fall out if you are changing it in the field, as it is strictly pressure fit). An extra 2032 battery for the reticle is included, but only a single battery is for the laser. The battery door for the laser can also be swapped out for the rat tail contact switch which is a very nice addition, as you can place it where you can press it with your thumb, etc without needing to remove your hand from the rifle while aiming. As it arrived, the laser and the reticle were not coincident and will need to be aligned, but the needed Allen wrench for doing so is included. About the only negative thing I have to say about this scope is that the bikini style lens covers are not the greatest, and they don't exactly fit that well either. That said, at this price point, I'm not complaining! As a bit of safety advice, while this may be a less than 5mW laser, when using it with the magnifying optic it is still wise to be cautious and try to avoid aiming at anything strongly reflective, especially at relatively close ranges. This scope is nicer than what I put it on. The scope game has really improved in 20 years. I am very happy with this scope. The colors really pop inside the scope. The laser up top is a great bonus, once zeroed in its very accurate and holds the setting. Many adjustments to really hone in your target. Normally i like to take pics looking through the scope but really cant do that with this scope. This scope takes objects as far as 500 yards visible enough to see them and assuming its sighted in probably would hit said target i will edit review when i get the chance to take out and test.
