I got one of these CVLife redox sights to replace another brand that would not hold zero when tightening the lock screw. This one was delivered and all seemed good until I put a bore sight in. I lined up the red dot reticle cross with dot in the center to the bore dot sight at 10 yards. Then as a flip through the other three reticles I saw the single dot reticle did not line up with the other three reticle options, in both green and red. I left a low star review and was totally bummed out because I love this sight. CVLife contacted me a few days later and asked if they could issue a full refund or send a new one no charge and give them another chance. I ageed and received one the very next day. One again I lined up the bore sight dot to the CVLife red dot. This time all reticles held the zero. Thank God. I love this red dot and was hoping the first one was just a fluke. I’m sure it was. This red dot is amazing for the price. The brightness setting are perfect. Can see clearly on 5 in both colors on a bright sunny day. Everything about this feels well built and rugged. All the knobs are a little difficult to flip though but I think this is very good as it won’t easily lose the settings. I currently have this mounted on my Winchester Wildcat 22. And I will definitely buy another if I get another pee pew to put it on. ... show more

    • First Red Dot I've Owned That Did NOT Drift

I normally us a standard sheet of paper with 5 2" circles printed on it to evaluate pistol accuracy at 30 feet. Today, I tested my Brodax revolver to see how many shots I could get out of one cylinder of CO2 with the Brodax. After 80 shots, the cylinder was empty and 8 of my 2" circles on 2 sheets of target paper had all shots within each circle with the exception of 3 shots. The CVlife Red Dot performed flawlessly. The Dot stayed locked into position in the center of the glass frame for me with no drift or change of any kind. Brightness never varied. I have tried multiple Red Dot sights and was convinced that none of them could hold steady without the dot drifting due to recoil from most airguns. While the Brodax is not a blowback pistol, it does feel the normal effects of shots and even the light amount of pressure from my pistols have managed to knock red dots off calibration before long. I just bought two more of these CVlife Red Dot sights. I wanted to get at least two more on my shelf before the airgun community figures out that these Red Dots are worth far more than the $21.00 they sell for. They are high quality for an unbelievable price. Don't let the price fool you. This one is 5 Star all the way. ... show more

For the price I don't know if you'll be able to beet it. The complete aluminum construction feels great and not as cheep as the price would indicate. took it to the range on a bright sunny day and I could see the reticle very well the entire time and all the different reticles worked well the only down side is it is not very sturdy, it had a small fall on my AR-12. it was standing on it stock and fell over on the side of the weapon. It ended up cracking the glass pretty good but it still was operational and never came apart after 50rds of 12G. Just wish the glass was a little more sturdy,. ... show more

I noted the one and two star reviews and in spite of the negativity decided to give the CVLife red dot a try. If it was junk, I was only out a little more than $20. When it came in, right out of the box the red dot looked slightly elongated. I decided for the money paid out, I would put up with the defect and use it anyway. Then I decided to try using it with my reading glasses on. It was even worse in this instance, showing double and sometimes triple images, and a wildly misshapen red dot. I am 78 years old and have glaucoma, which was corrected by surgery. After surgery, my right eye was 20/20 and my left eye was 20/25, so I ordered glasses the had clear glass for the right eye and a slight correction for the left eye lens. I don't normally wear my glasses because the correction is so slight it doesn't matter much for distance vision. However, when I put them on to try with the CVLife, the red dot shrunk to a perfect circle and all double/triple images disappeared. What was left was a perfect reticle that I could superimpose over the target with no issues whatsoever. This leads me to suspect that many of the one star reviews describing misshapen red dots and double images are the result of eye issues requiring the services of an optician rather than a problem with the red dot sight itself. I was able to mount the sight easily, zero it, and it performed admirably. I don't know how long it will last over time or how long the battery will last, but for now (in the short run) I am very well satisfied with my purchase. If it lasts a year or two I will have certainly got my money's worth out of the sight. At this point, I would recommend it, at least for air rifles. Others will have to report on how it stands up to standard firearm use. ... show more

The unit seems well made and the reticles are bright and the glass clear. I have not had the opportunity to shoot using it yet. At this point I am impressed with what you get for a very small price compared to the price of others which I already own - some 3,4 & 5 times the cost. I bought this just to compare to the more expensive units as It was hard for me to believe you can get good quality for this price - so far I am impressed. I did this out of curiosity not that I even need it. FUN!! ... show more
